I came up with one this morning: I'd really love to hear any of them sing Pippin's song from LotR. God, that would be so pretty.

Gollum's Song from Lord of the Rings would be nice, although it seems more like an Orla song.
Above All: Lisa and Chloe duet (they need to do one of those)
The Day That Heaven Cried (a cappella): Lisa, Alex, and Lynn
Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence: Everyone
How Great Thou Art (a cappella): Lisa, Chloe, Alex and Lynn
Graduation: Everyone
The Call (from Chronicles of Narnia): Alex
Like a Flowing River: Lynn
My Song is Love Unknown: Anyone with harp accompanyment
O Come O Come Emmanuel: Chloe
Amazing Grace: Lisa

Also, can we write original songs that we would like them to perform? I have something that Mairead could do on the fiddle that's original to me.

Every time I listen to The Power of the Dream (Celine Dion), I think of how perfect it would be for CW.  I see it as an ensemble, done similarly to One World.

I recently discovered Benny Anderson and Bjorn Ulvaeus's musical Kristina Fran Duvemala, and I think it would be a great idea for the ladies to do a few of the numbers (in english, of course), like Hemma (Home) or my favorite, DuMaste Finnas (You Have to be there).

Welcome the Rain [by Zina Goldrich and Marcy Heisler] would be beautiful for Chloe.

Knowing Alex's background in Theatre..she would do "The Last Song" [also by Goldrich and Heisler] very well..it's great fun!

I'll have to think of more songs..but those two stick out for me.

anything from The Swan Princess! You would need a male lead also but I doubt they would have trouble finding that!

I was talking earlier of Kristina fran Duvemala. Well, here's another song by Helen Sjöholm that David Downes could translate, and one of the ladies could sing: Gabriellas Sang, from the movie As It Is In Heaven. Here's a YouTube clip:

Beautiful song, I think.

I would love to hear Lisa sing 'Annie's Song' by John Denver or hear the five of them do Nat King Cole's 'Stardust'.  And some Beatles stuff would be great.

I'm not big on the Miley Cyrus hype, but I think her song "It's the Climb" would be a good one in CW style.  Smiley

Joanne - Lisa Kelly Fanatic! Alex, Lynn & Mairead!

I've mentioned this on other threads.  One I would love to hear them do is "Bridge Over Trouble Water", specifically as a duet between Lisa and Chloë.

That would be my hope too! But my hope is actually a duet between Lisa and Lynn or Lisa and Alex...
Great minds think alike though!!
