Patti Labelle did the song in the 70s it's a catchy tune I'm fully aware of what they're saying in french lol but it was just my brain mixing together sights and sounds from the previous 12 hours lol

I just looked up Lady Marmalade. And then imagined a Celtic Woman cover. That one belongs on the "Songs Celtic Woman should NOT sing" thread  Wink

On a completely different note, this song popped up on my Youtube sidebar. It's called Lullaby for a Stormy Night, and I think if Celtic Woman covered it, it would sound absolutely heavenly.

I think a cover of "Imagine" by John Lennon or "Stand By Me" by Ben E King would be cool

I know I'm ready to hear "New" music from them, when I heard Emerald was coming out I was excited cause I thought it was going to have new songs on it and maybe some traditional ones I'd never heard before, but then I saw that it was just re recordings of older songs. Not complaining though I love Emerald when do they usually put out a new album?

Excluding the compilation albums (Lullabye, etc.) they put them out... wait...

2005 - Original
2006 - ACC
2007 - ANJ
2009 - SFTH
2011 - Believe
2012 - HfC
2013 - HfC film
2014 - Emerald

This year or next year the X Anniversary DVD... maybe one for the Emerald tour (different than Musical Gems)... maybe next year a completely new one... In case they make a new DVD for Emerald they might add new songs.

I think at some point Celtic Woman or at least one of the girls will end up covering "Let It Go" from the movie Frozen. It's such a big song these days and everyone's doing it

Also I think since she sings the language so beautifully that Lisa Lambe should cover "Tha Mo Ghaol Air Àird A' Chuain" which is from the movie Brave
