I absolutely have to second the ones who wrote in about ORLA and Chloe singing "Little Drummer boy"...It seems like such an innocuous song at first, but then the purity of it strikes you and the humility that we are to show in the face of the love of the baby Jesu. No one does it better than these two immaculate singers!  Thanks for the reminder !!

omg  right now i am watching Celtic Woman's Christmas DVD and as i was reading this post, Little Drummer boy is on!!! that is sooo weird!

On the HELIX DVD
Lisa begins the Verse...
THen a duet with Meav and Chloe on the second verse....maybe someone knows the words...
"There is a dream that will not die....
Very beautiful combo, as one of the Ladies said in an interview, they are all basically soloists, so they were pleasantly surprised that they
blended so well, and were able to do the harmonies that David planned for them

I don't have a favorite yet, plus I need to catch up on the Christmas DVD - there's so many pretty duets the girls have done with each other, and really good ones with Mairead and the two Irish drummers.

Thanks, Jim, I knew the song was "The Soft Good-bye" my apologies for not mentioning it...I was referring to the lines of the second verse sung as a delightful duet by Chloe and Meav: Chloe does the alto part. Her lower register notes are so beautiful, just as Lisa's are. Chloe and Meav could record a sensational "Lullaby CD or DVD" don't you agree?   shankdee

I think Chloe and Meav can do ANYTHING!  They are both exceptionally talented (as are the other CW ladies).

Still waiting for that amazing duet of Lisa/Chloe in maybe the next tour. *sigh* Maybe they don't put those two together because they will outsing each other; Or maybe it's because Chloe might challenge Lisa to a dance-off.

HI
Although I have not actually counted the replies, it does seem like ORLA and CHLOE are way out in front
with "]The Little Drummer boy", and of course "The Last Rose of Summer"  with Hayley and Meav is pretty much in there, too. I don't know how to make one of those voting things that someone made for the favorite song choice. So we can just skim the relplies and leave it at that. Thanks to everyone on who replied.

The Little Drummer Boy by Orla and Chloe and The Voice by Lisa and Mairead are absolutely the best!
And a Lisa - Chloe duet would be something extraordinary!
