It is a great song. Because it is about America and sung by 4 lovely ladies and accompanied by one of the best violinists of all time. Thanks for the lyrics.

At least she's consistent, she sings "you're" on the SFTH show. But then again, she might sing something else on the CD! Grin

Yes, I figured she was singing "you're" weeping.  Every time I've heard the song, that's what I've heard her sing.  It makes the most sense, and flows better, to my mind and personalizes the song more.

I watched it several times on PBS, and it sounded like she said "You're weeping". I also thought they said "I will never answer thee". I thought, "What the heck?" I am so glad they didn't say that. I love CW.

Going to see them this Sunday (28th) in Tulsa.

  Yep.... The  closed captioning on the DVD says  "You're"  very distinctly.   Cool
