Now you have seen how the people in ireland typically socialize. Not quite the same as here in the states. Respect for a performer is accorded only when earned. It takes more than just a little bit to impress these people as music of many kinds is a constant part of their lives moreso than it is here.

The Parachute Café is small, cramped and noisy when crowded, as it evidently was on that night.
Customers would be ordering food, eating and talking.
There's also an outdoor area and a small play area for kids, so people would be going in and out.
It closed down for a long time after this was made. I think it now has a new owner.
