It shouldn't be too bad. The mountains and the southern part of the state get the brunt of the storms usually.

10 minutes ago 13 counties were under severe weather watches or warnings...... Now there are 23!!!

We have a tornado watch until Midnight. Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad

All of these counties are under the watch:
ALAMANCE, ALEXANDER, CABARRUS, CASWELL, CATAWBA, CHATHAM, DAVIDSON, DAVIE, FORSYTH, GUILFORD, IREDELL, LEE, MONTGOMERY, MOORE, ORANGE, PERSON, RANDOLPH, ROCKINGHAM, ROWAN, STANLY, STOKES, SURRY, WILKES, YADKIN

I live in Forsyth near the southwest county line.

Ack!  Undecided  I was at school once and there was a tornado and we didn't know! I saw a big tree get ripped apart right before my eyes. Part of the roof got twisted up. Then the word "Tornado" came across our tv screens and we all went into the hallways for an hour.

My county isn't on that list but we have a tornado watch! I live in Cleveland County near the SC border.
