HEY ARNOLD!
Move it, football head!
Man, I miss that show.
I only vaguely remember that show.

I used to watch that all the time!

Speaking of watching things, anyone seen any good movies lately?

Since this is the random thread and we seem to be stuck in a weather rut, I'd just like to say....
LEMURS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And today in the news:
New fossil links humans and lemurs?
"Meet "Ida, the small missing link" found in Germany that's created a big media splash and will likely continue to make waves among those who study human origins.  The fossil bridges the evolutionary split between higher primates such as monkeys, apes, and humans and their more distant relatives such as lemurs."

I have 2 funny stories about "knowing how movies end".  The first was when Titanic came out and there were people sitting in the movie theater that didn't know the ship sank *facepalm*  The second when the first Lord of the Rings movie came out and of course it ends in a very cliffhangery way and the guy behind me exclaims "That's it! That's the end, that su***!"   And I turned around and said "You do realize the movie is based off a series of books?"  And he goes "No, so there will be another movie?" *double facepalm*

There were similar reactions when I went to see FotR.  To counter it somewhat politely, my friends and I audibly discussed how "in a normal movie, that ending wouldn't work so well, but it worked great for LotR since it was a trilogy.  Yay three movies."  This drew a round of "Ohhh!" from those behind us.
