Move it, football head! Man, I miss that show. I only vaguely remember that show. I used to watch that all the time! Speaking of watching things, anyone seen any good movies lately? |

Since this is the random thread and we seem to be stuck in a weather rut, I'd just like to say....

I have 2 funny stories about "knowing how movies end". The first was when Titanic came out and there were people sitting in the movie theater that didn't know the ship sank *facepalm* The second when the first Lord of the Rings movie came out and of course it ends in a very cliffhangery way and the guy behind me exclaims "That's it! That's the end, that su***!" And I turned around and said "You do realize the movie is based off a series of books?" And he goes "No, so there will be another movie?" *double facepalm*

And I turned around and said "You do realize the movie is based off a series of books?" And he goes "No, so there will be another movie?" There were similar reactions when I went to see FotR. To counter it somewhat politely, my friends and I audibly discussed how "in a normal movie, that ending wouldn't work so well, but it worked great for LotR since it was a trilogy. Yay three movies." This drew a round of "Ohhh!" from those behind us. |
