I rescued a little 8 year old boy out of the wave pool today. He turned up completely fine. But it will stay with me forever.

I love Gilmore Girls!! But I don't remember hearing that in any episode! I do remember the one about culs de sac though!! I rescued a little 8 year old boy out of the wave pool today. He turned up completely fine. But it will stay with me forever.

Here's the story (I will leave him nameless because of privacy rules): I was on duty at the wave pool yesterday and the little 8 year old was with some older guys down in the deeper part of the pool and the waves were going. His tube flipped and he fell onto one of the older guys. The older guy was fine but they were struggling to get the little boy safely back onto the tube. He was couldn't touch and started to freak out so I jumped in after him. He was fine but they say you remember your first rescue forever. And that I will.

My bloody laptop is completely dead for now. The battery ran out of power and now it won't turn on. Well, at least it didn't happen during the school year. Maybe if I leave it alone overnight, it can get some juice back.

I actually talked with one of them before they closed on the phone, and he said it could be the power adapter acting weird due to all the rainstorms we've been having lately. Apparently several other people have called in about not having power. |
