I have no idea! I only walked and it was difficult for me. I think the rule is that it does get easier over time if you are consistent in it. Then you start adding more distance. I'm going to try that with walking and once it finally cools off maybe I'll start jogging, then eventually start running.

So does mine! When I got home from walking in 95 degree weather with the *lovely* humidity, I got to go back inside.
Air conditioning is amazing.

I've been trying to run 3-5 miles a day and have been doing so for like 3 weeks. When does this whole running thing get easier? ? Running 3-5 miles a day is not a good idea!! It's hard on your joints and your heart to run every day. You should only run 3-4 days a week max! Your other days should be cross training days that are easier on the joints (bike riding, swimming, etc.). In order to improve breathing and speed, one of your running days should be intervals of some sort. Hope that helps!!

I do always do intervals...and usually only end up running like 4-5 days, because of my schedule.

I miss walking/running. I really need to get myself in gear and start again. The sporadic swims and workout with my roommate just don't cut it. As is, the only thing I do that's of note is take 8 flights of stairs in my office building... and I'm not even doing that daily.
