I used to and I miss it. I started to have problems with my ears and had to stop.

Okay, played softball on teams until high school, when I threw the ball, I went to the left and my patella (kneecap) went to the left, and was dislocated. Dropped like a stone, got sent to the doc, was put in a cast that immobilized my entire leg. Then three months of physical therapy. Needless to say, I didn't make the team.  |

I wish I could play in leagues, just don't know enough people or the right ones. I usually play second base, but the girl that has played third in the past hadn't played in a while so I switched with her. My arm hurts today because back in high school I either tore or strained my bicep muscle so now it hurts every time I throw the ball.

I still swim but have to be careful. I have to get the water out of my ears rather fast but it doesn't stop me from diving. I love to hand out at the bottom of the deep end and see how long it takes people to notice... I was down there for almost 2 minutes once... as for my stroke they were all equal actually. I don't like to have any weaknesses so I worked at them. |

OUCH! Third base can be tough - having to rocket the ball over to first (while attempting to not hit the pitcher, who hopefully is paying attention and gets out of your way! ). I know that lots of times, the city community centers often have leagues that you can join. I think that's what my sister-in-law does. REGARDING SWIMMING:

I also swam, but was plagued by "swimmer's ear", recurring middle ear infections. Wow, 2 minutes!  Sorry if this is a stupid question, but what does "hand out" mean? |
