They already have taken over the world! Right now I am being sung to by the locust in the trees.... speaking of Locusts, Me and my cousins years ago use to have a locust nursery we would go out in the evening, find the locust crawling up the tree, getting ready to shed their old skin shell, so we would bring them in, put them on a curtain till they came out, and their wings unfurled and dried, then take them back out. I did something similar when i was younger lol. When the locust would shed their skin, we would stick the old skin to our shirts and try to scare people lol <3 Lauren

Have you ever seen a cicadia while it was shedding its old shell? They come out a nice light green color.

Actually I have...a few years ago they came out and they were everywhere. They only come out every so many years up here. It got to be quite gross because there were shells all over the place.

actually the way the summer has been is kinda amusing for bugs..... at least in Alberta, Canada.
Started off with a lot of mosquitoes..... but then the dragonflies came out in DROVES!!!!
I've NEVER seen any dragonflies in my entire life until this year and believe me ..... 6 or 7 are at least always buzzing around our front walkway.

I like dragonflies myself; they've never done me any (direct) harm. Bees/wasps on the other hand... *shudders*

Sorry I have not been on for a long time! I do miss this place! My parents half-grounded me from the computer until I finish my schoolwork (yes I am homeschooled and yes, I am a little bit behind!:))! But I can get on for brief times here and there until I finish my schooling... and then I will have free rain of the computer... Except when my older sister gets on... lol Anyway, until next time! I feel for everyone that is going back to school. However I'm very happy that this is the first year in like 20 years (since Kindergarden) that I will not be going to school. Hope everyone has fun.

Heheheheh, I know I will have fun, the new kids are sooooooo tiny and easily to fool. You could tell them their classroom is on the third floor, and they would believe you even though they have their roster in their hands
