My grandmother used to make the gravy herself. Now I don't know which part about it was worse. Using the turkey's organs in the gravy, or the fact that the gravy was clear. I don't even want to begin to think how you make clear gravy. Tongue Cheesy

I have a rubber doll of the dough boy that my daughter gave me.  He lives in our stand mixer.
Guests usually giggle and think it is cute.

Unfortunately, unless I have a big laugh, I giggle like the dough boy.  People like to poke me in the stomach while tickling me for the full effect.  This is very popular while I am trying to make Thanksgiving dinner.  Someday the gravy is going to be on the floor.

P.S. My gravy is not clear.
