We always have pumkin pie and cranberry up-side down cake. The latter is beautiful and delicious.

We also try to reflect on the good things we have and be thankful. It is corny but we go around the table and have everyone state something that they are thankful for. Then we make pigs of ourselves.

Making pigs of ourselves. I don't need a holiday to do that. I can do that anytime.

I have a rubber doll of the dough boy that my daughter gave me. He lives in our stand mixer. Guests usually giggle and think it is cute. Unfortunately, unless I have a big laugh, I giggle like the dough boy. People like to poke me in the stomach while tickling me for the full effect. This is very popular while I am trying to make Thanksgiving dinner. Someday the gravy is going to be on the floor. P.S. My gravy is not clear.
