Thanks for the encouragement. I plan to keep trying. I feel kind of stupid at times...the directions tell me what to do and I still mess it up! LOL

We all have our times. Once I misread baking powder and put baking soda int a mix. Once I was supposed to put flower into a batter in three installments. I put the cake in the oven went to clean up and found installments two and three on the counter! The cake still was good but I called it fudge cake. Keep trying even mistakes can turn out OK.

CM if you get Food Network check out the shows Good Eats and How to Boil Water. They are great shows to pick up the basics of cooking.

Oh yeah. He was born at 3:15pm yesterday. It's been a great week. 2 concerts and a nephew. However I must admit that the nephew was better then the concerts.

back to cooking, My other problem is I have a very small kitchen with very little counterspace, which again, makes doing a Thanksgiving dinner, a bit, crowded. But I do plan on doing my Cornish Game Hens for Christmas Dinner. With my uhhh...left over shrimp platter from Red Lobster for breakfast (its been my traditional Christmas breakfast for years )

ok..If I can cook, ANYONE can cook. granted some of my experimentations didn't turn out too good, but others actually turned out great! For one: There is this brand of pasta, sauces etc, found in the cold case, just can't remember the dang name right now. But used the fetticini pasta, and then alfredo sauce, then added Starkists fresh tuna in a pouch, the Garlic Herb one and Voila! A very good version of Tuna and Noodles. Hmmm..I may be making that this weekend. Oh and I make GREAT Spagetti!!! Even a fussy eater (such as myself) will eat it. You can't see the veggies
