I think that some of the older songs will be in the show like orinoco flow and maybe at the ceili and definitely you raise me up and the sky and the daen and the sun,
im just hoping that all the new songs will be in the show, and some new songs that werent performed on tour.
and for surprises, maybe orla will have a cameo appearance?

What you have to do is put yourself in the shoes of whoever decides what songs to put on a NEW DVD and CD.
Forget sentimentality.
The object of this filming is to sell the product, and win new fans.
One of the biggest complaints about recording artists is, they repeat too many songs on their CDs.

CW have already repeated all their previous songs on "Greatest Journey" which was a summary of the story of CW so far.

It's time for new stuff. Part of the new will be songs from IOH, leaving out the ones that are on previous CDs,
and with (I hope) completely new ones added.

CW consists of the five artists they have now. I don't think any of the previous artists will show up.
Yes I would like to see them too but it would not be wise professionally.

I did wonder if the High Kings might do a "guest spot" but they will be heading for the World Fleadh in Castlebar, County Mayo, which will be an absolute blast for a whole week.

To those who are going to Ireland:
Oh, if you only knew how much fun those Fleadh events are, you would all be staying on over there.
A week is not enough in Ireland anyway.....

THAT'S where I would love to be......   http://www.theworldfleadh.com/

I'm right there with you Kathleen...impatient! But, it's nice to have a new dvd and cd towards the end of the year. It helps with the withdrawals between tours!  Grin

I agree with Maggie, I would like to see more new stuff for this one, even at the omission of CW classics. I believe most of us here have at least one of three releases by now so I don't believe it would be a big deal to leave them out. Should be interesting to see what comes out of this taping when it happens.
