It's funny and weird to see and read how many people heard Caledonia as Lisa's first song. Well I can say that it was mine too because I was actually looking for a bagpipe version when I discovered the video with Lisa.

Caledonia...It was also the 4th CW song I'd heard. My first was Orla's Siuil a Ruin, followed by At the Ceili and The Butterfly (or was it The Butterfly THEN At the Ceili???)
Caledonia is still one of my top favorite CW songs!

Fields of Gold! After that, I couldn't get enough of Lisa and CW!!! I don't think there's such thing as too much CW.

My first CW concert was the PBS "Believe" broadcast, so my first Lisa solo was "Follow On." She hooked me in seconds. She got to me so hard that it even partially immunized me against the overwhelmingly gorgeous Meave when I found "A New Journey" on YouTube. I've since listened to every CW song on YouTube (Except the ones shot with cellphones - UGH!) and when all is said and done, she is the only one who still makes me want to just curl up and purr.

I first saw Celtic Woman on PBS in 2006 when A New Journey aired on PBS. The first solo Lisa had in that concert was Caledonia. When I first saw CW live in 2008 Alex was filling in for Lisa who was on maternity leave. Alex sang Caledonia and did a very good job. Then when Lisa came back in 2009 Caledonia was no longer in the show. I really would like to see her sing it live.
