Why did she have tears in her eyes?? And what happened in YRMU?? well - I think it was the wind and it was very very cold that night, the rain stopped short before the eve started..... the stop in YRMU - Lisa said thank you to the audience - in the middle of the last refrain, you can see it at the DVD - nobody expected that.....and we were all very surprised and speechless.....

I think it was the wind that made her tear up too, because her voice didn't sound different, and if she had started to cry, then it would've sounded different. As far as I know, she thanks the audience in most shows during the end of YRMU. From what people have said. SO SWEET!!!!!!!

The first night was breezy when Lisa was singing Fields of Gold, causing her eyes to water. I really don't think she was crying. BUT it was neat to see her stop and have her makeup retouched....

I was able to enjoy the Powerscourt concert only from my living room. Will probably never get to travel to Ireland. But I have been able to see Celtic Woman here in the U.S. eight times. So I am blessed. Thanks for the thoughts and the pictures.

There is no Lambe like our Lil' Lambe. Mairead Carlin is the real deal.

This brings all the great memories back again! Thank you so much!
If you had told me 5 years ago that I would travel to Ireland and stand in a line for 2 1/2 hours, two nights in a row (!), and race madly for the best seat I could get... well, I would have considered it a malicious fantasy! Not worthy of response or even comment! But I did and I loved every single minute of it. What's really weird is that the lines were actually quite enjoyable with all the fellow fans and all the CW chat and camaraderie with people from all over the world. Like Richard said, my kids can't believe that I've become a musical groupie at my age!
Oh, and the bugs! I had already blocked out the bugs!
haha..wouldn't I wish to have known sooner! [/quote I love you'r banner, Do you still have the picture of Alex on the left? I've never seen that pic before.
