Okay, I'm wondering what it would be like if Alex did Celtic Woman songs that weren't hers? Like if she did these:
Caledonia
Scarborugh Fair
The Prayer
Newgrange
I Dreamt I Dwelt In Marble Halls
Do you think that would be interesting?

She sang Caledonia and Lisa's other solos while Lisa was on maternity leave with Elle and she did a great job! It would be nice to hear her cover these other songs as well! She has such a beautiful voice and I could listen to her sing just about anything!

I think David does about the best job of picking who sings what. Maybe you could contact Alex and see if she will put them on a CD someday, but until then I like the songs each girl sings and wouldn't think about changing Davids choices!! LOL

I have always though that Alex needs a 'power' type of song. Something like Lisa has "The Voice". A song that Alex can call her own, a signiture song, that can reach out and grab the audience. But it should be something different. Something new that is completely hers when we think of CW. Unfortunately, I have not been able to think of one yet.  |

She would do each of those songs awsomely. She seems to have the range to be able to do most songs like Lisa would.

Well, I read a while ago on her forum that she finds You'll Be In My Heart the most enjoyable song to sing, but I always picture True Colors as an signature-song for her.. I don't know, maybe because of the way she looks on pictures, that she is seeing something we aren't able to see  Still I think one thing, she must also get an IRISH solo! She would do a stunning job on a lot of songs, as she must not get the image of the one who takes over the 'popsongs' |

Send Me a Song The Prayer Panis Angelicus Nella Fantasia I Dreamt I Dwelt in Marble Halls She Moved Through the Fair Carrickfergus Isle of Inisfree Fields of Gold (Any of the girls can sing that one beautifully) Siuil a Run Danny Boy (Meav's solo version) Someday Scarborough Fair Lascia Ch'io Pianga Si Do Mhaomeo I (spelling) I never got to hear her sing The Voice, The Blessing, and Caledonia, but OMG I know she did just as good as Lisa! If she ever does a CD, I hope she puts at least one of them on it.  |
