Title: How Many Albums Post by: capcom on April 08, 2007, 12:36AM Hi Everyone,
I was just wondering if anyone has but together a compilation of all the albums, Cd's, Recordings that have been released, foreign or otherwise. Promos, Singles, ect. And where they may be purchased. There's one that iv been looking for to no avail. Its called "Songs From Solo Works - Celtic Woman". Iv found a few sites that have it listed such as http://www.artistdirect.com, http://www.starpulse.com, http://www.digirama.co.nz and http://music.yahoo.com But there is no physical album to be purchased there. Any help appreciated. Thank you. Jeff Title: Re: How Many Albums Post by: capcom on April 10, 2007, 04:13PM Well, Iv surmised that this is an import made by Toshiba/EMI. Spanish Lady is a (Tokyo Live Ver.) too. Pretty cool. Too bad i cant read Japanese. Iv found it on dozens of there web sites. They love there music. There are some nice pictures on the Toshiba's site that i haven't seen before with Deirdre Shannon. Iv also tripped on some info on Órlagh Fallon web site. . http://orlaghfallon.org/themusic.html http://www.toshiba-emi.co.jp/st/artists/celticwoman/disco/ Samples http://listen.jp/store/preview.aspx?pid=0094636631059&fn=0094636631059_1_02&tm=1176241629984 Title: Re: How Many Albums Post by: Western_Rose on April 16, 2007, 06:39PM you can translate Japanesse here http://www.google.com/language_tools

Here my list. :) Title: Re: How Many Albums Post by: aislin on March 05, 2012, 10:32AM Well, Iv surmised that this is an import made by Toshiba/EMI. Spanish Lady is a (Tokyo Live Ver.) too. Pretty cool. Well hmm. You have sent me on a bit of a hunt this morning. That version of Spanish Lady was originally released at the end of a digital album CW did called Songs From Solo Works. Basically, it was two songs from each of the girls solo albums combined to create kind of a CW solo sampler. The album was originally available on iTunes (and Amazon?) in the US which is where I got it, but it looks like it has since been pulled though you can still find it in Amazon and iTunes for some European countries. Odd. I don't think I'll ever have a full collection, but I'm pretty satisfied with the 50+ CW and CW-related (solos, Bloody Irish, Amy Rivard) I have in my collection so far. ;) Title: Re: How Many Albums Post by: Danny on October 29, 2017, 06:37AM Wow! 50+ is really good! I think it's actually impossible to get a full collection.
I don't do solo stuff, just CW releases. I collected about 70 CW releases from all over the world (US, EU, AU, JP, TW, KR, CA, ...) I collected about 70 CW releases from all over the world (US, EU, AU, JP, TW, KR, CA, ...) That's cool! Celtic Woman really is a global phenomenon. It must be really neat to see all the little things that they do differently in each market and to appreciate how many places in the world have enjoyed their music. I guess I do the other end of the spectrum. I pretty much just have one copy (usually North American releases) of each Celtic Woman album. I'm still missing a few of the regional Celtic Woman albums (ie. Japan and Germany) and a couple of the compilations ... slowly pecking away at that list. But as far as solo albums go, I have one hard copy of almost all the solo albums (I'm missing a few of the compilation and regional albums from Hayley, since she's done so many of them, and just a few others here and there). Yes, that‘s exactly what makes is so special! Especially the Taiwanese CD/DVD packages are stunning! Not to mention all the bonus tracks like live recordings taken from the DVD and additional new recording like we have on the German issues. I don‘t know that much about the solo recordings. I just own a copy of all the „Celtic Woman presents...“ issues. Must be hard to staying up tp date with all the ladies :) good job! Some albums I haven't find hard copies of (ie. Edel's "Bluebonnet Spring", Babylon Sisters EP), or at least not at a reasonable price after shipping (ie. some of Hayley's albums), so I just got digital versions of those instead. There's a bunch of Hayley's compilation / regional albums I don't have. Too hard to get and just too many of them. That's a total of 69 hard copies so far. That doesn't include the duplicates I have of some of Chloë's CDs or Homecoming: Live from Ireland ;) I have 24 Celtic-Woman-related DVD hard copies: Celtic Woman: The Show A New Journey: Live At Slane Castle, Ireland A Christmas Celebration: Live From Dublin The Greatest Journey: Essential Collection Songs From The Heart: Live From Powerscourt House And Gardens Believe Home for Christmas: Live from Dublin Emerald: Musical Gems Destiny Homecoming - Live from Ireland Lord of the Dance (Mairead Nesbitt) Feet of Flames (Mairead Nesbitt) Celtic Tenors: Live in Concert (Mairead Nesbitt, Deirdre) Hayley Westenra: Live (Hayley Westenra) Chloë: Walking In the Air (Chloë Agnew) Daniel O'Donnell - the Rock 'n' Roll Show (Susan McFadden) Music of Ireland 1: Welcome Home (Mairead Nesbitt, Orla) Music of Ireland 2: Welcome to America (Celtic Woman) Orla Fallon's Celtic Christmas (Orla Fallon, Méav Guest, Eabha cameo) My Land (Orla Fallon) Divinas: Live at Chambord Castle (The Divinas, inc. Méav) The Bloody Irish (Lisa Lambe) Celtic Roots: Live with Nathan Carter (Chloë Agnew) Tracks and Paths (Mairead Nesbitt) I have the Rocktopia DVD too, because the singers, arrangements, and energy are ridiculously awesome. It doesn't have Mairead in it although I wouldn't have the DVD if not for her. I may not be the absolute pinnacle of CWazy, but they don't call me CWazy for nothing. :D |
