Title: A new message
Post by: Music Girl on August 21, 2011, 04:07AM
Hey guys,
I hope someone can help me out on this one.
The forum keeps saying that I got a new message, but when I look in my personal messages there is nothing new.
Whats going on? and what can I do about it?
Its quiet annoying.  :(

Have you clicked on the most recent message to read it?  Sometimes the message is stored as "New" unless you've actually clicked on it.  The bold type of a new message should turn to regular text after it's been read.

Strange.  An Admin will probably have to sort this one out.

Music Girl,

Sounds like you've got a bad cookie. Delete your browser's cookies and see if that fixes the problem.

I did what you said but it didn't solve it.

Hmmmm. Ok, I'm going to send you a PM. Try and see if we can make the system fix the problem by realizing it has a new message. However, if the PM I sends you causes the new message counter (the number in brackets by My Messages in the menu) goes up, let me know and I'll see what else I can come up with.
