Since contracting OCCWD, I've watched all of the YouTube video and acquired three of the concert videos. After watching all that, I keep coming back to Lisa Kelly. When all is said and done, she is the only one who can make me want to just curl up and purr.

Hmm... this suggests a new fantasy creature, the werekitty. A werekitty is not sensitive to the full moon, and he doesn't become a ravening monster. On hearing Lisa sing, he turns into a calico cat, allowing him to respond as so many of us wish we could.

  The  DVD  performance which makes me "swoon"  the most is Lisa in that FANTASTIC  yellow Christmas dress.  And the way she hit those high notes in the" Christmas Song"  always has me melting.   :-* :-* :-*   Caledonia is "purr-worthy"  too.   :D 

  With young Harry here two months now, it must be getting a little easier for Lisa! Our well-wishes are with her every day!  :)

Just an observation that occurred to me last night.  Lisa has a fair amount of time alongside David's piano, one in each show except Believe, I think: Send Me A Song, The Blessing, and The Moon's A Harsh Mistress.  Any I missed?  Anyway, it suits her very well. :)

  ....just one I believe.  ;)   "The Christmas Song" from the Christmas DVD.   Who can forget that INCREDIBLE  yellow dress Lisa was poured into.  :-*

Haha, I kinda like that description. :D And yeah, the dress is stunning, especially with Lisa's darker hair at the time.

Of course, like most fans on the Forum, I have loved all the ladies. But I thought that what made Lisa K different is that - more than any other soloist - she made you feel not like she was singing AT you, but that she was singing TO you.

She really is. Lisa and all the girls have been such an inspiration for me.

Little side-note though: "we're big Celtic Woman fans here in Detroit" ... just lol. I guess maybe things have changed since SftH or something, because as much as I LOVED the Destiny show last year at the Fox, the place was only half full and aside from Mairead Nesbitt's songs and the last 2 numbers of the show, the audience was pretty reserved. I mean it's great to feel like I'm at a private show but it's also pretty sad to be the only one in the audience clapping along to When You Go.
