Baby boy Porter has arrived in to this world. All 9lbs 7oz of him. Mom and baby doing great. He was born at 8.50pm EST. Thanks for all your good wishes!!! btw don't think anyone guessed the right date never mind the fact that he was a boy!

Since the baby was born in the States, he becomes a U.S. citizen at birth.

The 2 older boys are Cian & Jack.

I had a gut feeling she was going to give birth in Atlanta.

A couple of months ago she returned a picture of she & I that was taken at a m&g in Chicago in 2011. I had sent it to CW Ltd in Dublin. They sent me an email informing me that they forwarded it to Lisa who was currently in the US. And then when I got the picture back, it came from a FedEx office in Atlanta. Since this was just a couple of months ago, I just knew she would not be flying back to Dublin at this point in the pregnancy. My gut was right ;D

It's interesting to me that they chose American citizenship for their baby.  I wonder if that means that they are going to permanently reside here?

His name is Harry! I can't believe that. That is what I thought they would name him just because I don't like it. Now he will be Harry Porter which is too

OK, anyone who wants to contribute for a gift can send it to my Paypal account.  My email address is on my profile page.  After a few days, and hopefully more gift suggestions, we will decide on something, buy it, and send it off to Lisa.  (I will check Ireland's Ebay to see what kind of goodies they have there.  This should speed up delivery and probably save on shipping costs.)

It seems strange to me that the birth was here in America. Does anyone know which city? Why, exactly, did she choose that? Do we have better healthcare than Ireland?

Also, I really do hope Lisa Kelly knows how to sing Harry's Game. It seems appropriate for the occasion.

O/T: Isn't Harry supposed to end up with Ginny?

  I think it was Atlanta where the birth took place.  And yes, Harry and Ginny end up together, although he is best friends with Hermoine.  :)

We received several contributions for a gift and we will be sending Harry a personalized baby blanket.   :)
