What do you wish for "The Emerald Tour"? I have lots of wishes :D

- An etheral - later strong - intro song, less like Awakening, more like Sky Dawn Sun
- Different dresses for each girl (as much as I like the uniform dresses, the individual dresses simply can't be beaten!)
- Light first act and big second act dresses
- Scarlet Ribbons!!!
- Lots of flying songs for Máiréad N
- New original songs by David!!! (pleeease!!!)
- A DVD fimed outside in front of a big Irish castle :P
- A musical classic as an acapella (Send In The Clowns, Dreamers, wathever)
- Memory for Susan (the second act stage version, NOT the solo concert version. With Jemima's parts sung by one of the other girls)
- Lots of traditional songs with the unique "Celtic Woman twist"
- A brand new super epic Ceili song, either traditional or by David!!!
- The full You Raise Me Up (including "there is no life...")
- The Parting Glass aswell, 'cause it's super epic
- Songs in various languages
- Gaelige songs!!!

If they did that, I'd love either Sarah or Edel to sing Jemima's part! All the choir members should get small solos!

Yes, it's a cool idea to let a chorus girl sing that! After all, Jemima is a chorus kitten. That girl would definitely get a cool nickname. OR each night a different girl, so all could have the chance!!!

Or one could do the opening and the other could sing the "Sunlight through the trees in summer" part (the duet with Grizabella in some versions)!

I don't have very much to add to what you said - you mentioned a lot of what I've been hoping for - more Gaelic and traditional songs, originals from David, castle background, etc.

The only things I would add are:

1. At some point, they do a one-time 10th anniversary "The Greatest Reunion" show with a lot of past members (I would love all of them, but I know how difficult that would be to schedule) and record it for a Blu-Ray/DVD
2. I wish the Emerald Tour would come to my city!  :)

I wish Lil' Lambe would sing "Black Is The Colour" which she sang at the "Believe" filming in Atlanta but the song was not included on the "Believe" tour.

Carolina Rua would be cool for Lil' Lambe or Mairéad C!
Isle Of Innisfree would make a beautiful group song, if you ask me. :)

I really hope they finally give Susan a solo of her own. I mean, Mairead Carlin already has Scarlet Ribbons! And she's been with the show just for a few months! Susan is wrapping up her second year with the girls!

I agree that the choir should have solos...   I also think Edel and Sarah should come back... I love them! :)   Or, I know it`s not possible, but... Sarah Burke? ;)

I wouldn't be surprised though if they did a radio city taping? But The do a taping every 2 years it seems so I don't know if they will do one on tour or back home? Possibly Cleveland though next year but radio city wouldn't surprise me!  Which I though they were going to do for the Isle of Hope tour which was completely brand new etc but not taped. And I think they did 3 days radio city so they prob. could have used the ps 22 choir then , which they did a year later! It will bee exciting to see what they decide! ANd knowing them probably announce anything a week before!!

Here's what I wish for in detail...

-Awakening to make a return! Hopefully no one will stone me for this, but it's my favorite show opener! Even beats Sky for me!
-A new 1st act solo for Lisa. Preferably something all in Irish. I think her version of Dulaman is the best CW version, but its kinda worn out now.
-Caledonia. Because omg Susan! She sings it so beautifully! With such a longing for home. Sigh....
-Scarlet Ribbons. This song made me fall in love with Mairead C's voice. PLEASE let it stay!
-A new Mairead fiddle solo. Cuz she's awesome. Bar none. Oh! And can we keep Granuaile's Dance for her too? Cuz that's basically her signature.
-Orinoco Flow. What can I say? I'm a sucker for the classics!
-Teir Abhaile Riu. Just cuz its a freakin BLAST!!!!!
-Danny Boy. Because it's not Celtic Woman without Danny Boy.
-Mo Ghile Mear to close the first act. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, right? Plus it's my fave CW song!
-Act 2 opener. Something besides Amazing Grace. Keep Amazing Grace in the show! I've no problems with that. But a powerful opener for Act 2, something like The Call, would be perfect.
-Some sort of truly powerful group song. Almost light opera. Something akin to Jesu, Joy or Non C'e Piu in power and majesty.
-Bridge should stay for Lisa. My God... She's absolutely wonderful on that song.
-Memory or something similar for Susan. Just give her SOMETHING of her own! PLEASE!!!
-A new solo for Mairead C. I won't go into details simply cuz I don't really know what her niche is yet...
-Nil S'en La. As it was on the 2013 tour. Because it was the most fun EVER!!!
-The Parting Glass to close the whole show. Because it's perfect in every way! What better way to close is there than saying ¨Goodnight and joy be to you all¨?
-I think we can all agree that The Finale is one that should stay. I also personally believe Spanish Lady should be brought back as the encore. Just saying.


Now! As for everything else, I'll leave it in David's capable hands. Ultimately, I trust in him to get the job done.

Pardon me as I melt into a puddle...that would be stunning: Mairead's sweet tones, Lisa's lilting... :o  And I'd love to hear Carolina Rua again!  It's one of my favorite songs ever and it's a shame it was performed only for IOH.

I want more songs by David. He has written less songs for every show, Believe had only one (Awakening, I won't count Walking The Night since it was already in SFTH and is partly traditional). I want a new intro by David, a new Ceili song by David and several others. He is a talented composer, but he needs to write more!

I just read some tweets and it looks like there's a new dancer/singer in the show called Nicholas Yenson. So I immediately thought that Craig has left the show but he tweets that he was also in Nashville, rehearsing with the girls ! So we get two Irish dancers  :o :o it gonna be epic I feel it !

OH MY GOSH! This show is gonna be amazing! New material, TWO dancers, and Lisa and Susan said in an interview that they're also beringing back some old material! They keep getting better and better with every show they do! I have a feeling this one is gonna be the best (so far lol)! And YES, I WANT SPOILERS on opening night! Haha I'm weird. I don't like getting movie and TV show spoilers, but I always wanna know what to expect at a CW show, because waiting drives me nuts lol!

If they open the show with Sky Dawn Sun, I will hyperventilate with happiness.

I go onto WCPO (local channel) to read about the Winter Storm Warning that's been issued... And right underneath it, a big Celtic Woman Emerald banner for its sale on Amazon! Rock on Cinci!

I've been getting lots of those lately - when I log on to Yahoo email, my home email from work, a hockey website I read - it's everywhere!

Nice to see, but scary that advertisers know so much about me.   :P
