Title: An Irish Journey
Post by: celtic.cutie on January 17, 2015, 02:16PM
I have no idea what board to post this in soo...admin you can move it where you think it belongs :p

Does anyone know anything about their An Irish Journey CD? I think it was only released in France and contained a group version of Th Water is Wide, which I would die to get my hands on.

I have that cd. :)
TWIW is the first track but I don't know if it is a group number as it is still factory sealed and I don't plan to open it.
I bought it on Ebay from a seller (GROOVES-INC.com) in Europe in 2012.  There is another copy listed on Ebay right now.

TWTW is a group number, it was the only "new" song ;) As for the others songs, they were already released on other CDs.

That youtube video is blocked. :(

The link is working for me in Canada.

But if it's still blocked regionally for some, here's another link that hopefully works:

I remember hearing this version of The Water Is Wide a while back as one of the tracks on an obscure album called "Degemer Mat, Bienvenue" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bJuRxRJqOmw&list=PLRAb2unuFFd24b9xWeZAFHTCR1lxSu_Fm). Ironically, that "Degemer Mat, Bienvenue" link IS blocked (for now), probably due to the situation between YouTube/Google and Warner Music (as well as Universal Music Group and Sony Music).

I definitely like this group arrangement the best!
