I hope there will be mostly completely new songs - mainly traditional and by David, not too much pop - and a few classics, like The Parting Glass and You Raise Me Up! And completely new intro and ceili songs. They have only done "best of"s for three years, it's time for something new!

I think it'll be Lynn.  The Celtic Woman facebook page has recently changed the information on the side panel and it now lists the three vocalists as Lynn, Mairead C and Susan.  (They've removed Lisa L from it.)

well a few things, 1. I think they are recording the new music first and I know Anthony has mentioned that he has been practicing new music so I'm taking it that way. And I presume after that they will record in September. 2. It's already August so they need to start making announcements instead of surprising everyone so people can plan appropriate plans. Which in hopes with that that they pick an appropriate location or venue so everyone can go. Even though I have a slight inkling (mine have been pretty on point lately though) that it will be outdoors in Ireland. Which David said he is working on something new and will let us know this week? I would love the Ireland  part but again last minute is hard to get off of work and more expensive. I hope they don't do the new one while in London etc and I would regret not going (well, moving on my own is also kind of bigger thing) and hopefully in 2016 I can see them in Cleveland or radio city hopefully!? So I am super excited to see what they have planned! I will have to tell my friend to because she will be over there the end of this month and she always catches  the tapings while she's there like songs from the heart at powerscourt!!)

I think they will be doing it in August. They can't really shoot for September when they'll be touring Australia now can they? Mairead C even tweeted that she's going back to Ireland for a few weeks.

As for giving notice, I wasn't a Forum member until late 2009. Did they always give advance notice for CW shows?

Ahh ok usually the last week in August or so! and I would be happy for them to get back taping in Ireland and  hopefully not at the helix but maybe somewhere outside at a castle?! Excited any how! (If I have time I might message the helix to see if they know anything since it's so secretive and usually they are really really good about letting me know! And no they are horrible about giving notice! Which is wrong since people have to put in time a month ahead of time and get airfair that jacks up the closer you get to the date to book and same w hotels etc especially international where you need extra time ! The last time they taped at powerscourt they said it 2 weeks before and it was impossible to prepare and book stuff in time. (Literally was told the 18th of august about it and location and the 2nd and 3rd of September was the taping...) and same with believe and emerald was a decision made on tour and told less than a week prior and 2 days after I saw them they taped, which was preparing for the 10th anniversary which cle would have been a good choice! which might not be ruled out now for the tenth even though it will most likely be in Ireland (either the helix or another location (would love that!) but they do record and practice in Dublin so you never know! And they might not even use I for 2016 since some of the tix are being advertised already and it says that is classic favorites even though Anthony said new music and so did David so I am hoping they decided to change it?! we will see and I'm excited!

And about announcing in advance, they only announced the HFC special about 3 or 4 weeks before hand. So they'll probably do it this month. It's only August 1st. :)

I'm beyond a state of excitement actually!!! They didn't do something since Sept 2011 (Believe) I'm hoping for an album more like A New Journey, bringing us back to Ireland, more traditional with a powerful opening and a powerful ending. But since David is teasing us lately I guess we will be surprised.
New album/new TV special mean new tour next year!!! I can't wait to find out what they are up too  ;D ;D ;D ;D

Mairead Carlin has tweeted that she is packing for a "busy week in Dublin".

Maybe they will record a new show without an audience to save money and time.
Plus, they have plenty of video showing audiences at previous shows that they could edit in to make it look like there was an audience present.

oh wow!  But location and date wise they really need to release that as soon as they know this way people can plan if they have to take off work or travel, the rest can be " secretive" which I understand but I would love to plan more than a few day or weeks ahead of time. Like I have to put in time off a month before if I want a day off a lot of people need 2 weeks. But I did message the helix so within an hour or two I should here something ( def by 7am est) so if I do here something I will let you guys know!

 I am confused though and read that statement a few times. There is no location date or time etc,  so I am not sure and I have not heard anything back from the helix yet. I am wondering if they will do it that way and the girls already told there friends and family in advance? And I hope the girls explain more or even have pictures during the performance (or maybe not as I might want to be surprised if I get to see them!!  I also am wondering who Rhona is, have not heard that name mentioned?!  Hmm I hope they explain more!

extra.. From a moments research I am wondering if a woman named Rhona Kelly is the Rhona they are talking about? I am wondering if that name sounds familiar? And yes, I am wondering who the other girl or girls will be too? on a side note I hope they go to radio city this year they haven't gone in years and the girls love it there. The rockettes had a special around the tour time so they couldn't and I have not heard anything about them doing another one (yes, I follow the rockettes too, lol!) And I am going in that area in Nov. so tickets wouldn't be an issue!!  I guess we will have to wait and see, so excited!

you beat me to it!  I was gonna say our mystery 4th girl is Rebecca winkworth!! That is pretty awesome and I really like her music! I hope to catch her next year!

I absolutely adore her! I so wish it would be her :D That would make her the second woman to have been a member of Anúna, the Bluebelles/Babylon Sisters AND Celtic Woman. And the fifth former Anúna member with CW :D Also, she's mainly Celtic, which is perfect, because Mai C is mainly classical and Susan is mainly contemporary, even though, of course, they all cover all genres of CW.

Let's keep our perspectives here folks. The only thing we know is of a new special next week. We also only know that Mairead, Susan, and Mairead C are performing.

I too love Rebecca Winkworth. But don't forget, she's been friends with many in CW and besties with Lynn for many years. So if, as seems to be the general consensus, CW is doing a more private select audience, an old friend like Rebecca may simply be planning on attending.

To clarify, I'm not trying to rain on anyone's parade here. And I thoroughly enjoy speculation. But I just don't want anyone thinking that anything that's mere speculation is solid fact.

Well, it was simply based on Synan saying "first night of many" with the hashtag #CW10 of course, it doesn't have to mean something but I am sure (and hope) they won't have only three girls performing and it isn't unlikely that Rebecca will be the new girl. The tweet was obviously a teaser.

Memory and Here To Stay are also just speculation, not solid facts ;D We can only speculate. The whole new show is nothing but speculation, since there hasn't been an official statement yet.

I hope it will feature Memory and Here To Stay! And I hope for new songs, and new original songs, not only covers!

   It  is  looking  pretty  likely  for  RW  to  be  joining.  Synan  wouldn't  be  saying  to  her  "...the  first  of  many...."   referring  to  dress  sizing  meetings.  she's  a  winner  for  sure.   8)

I don't think the new show is speculation at all. It did say there is a taping next week which the audience is probably more family and close friends. But it was announced a few times this week so it's not speculation. And as for Rebecca she is friends w the girls especially Lynn so I am not sure if it's just only for a one night taping and then not touring at least. And that tweet was an excited tweet and something she just would post randomly! Especially susan too as w dresses there are many fittings especiallyon short notice w all the girls and prob did all the girls dresses and working on hers w fitting now! And he wouldn't say that if she was going to be an audience member! But she is a good choice and I can't wait to hear/ see her even if it's just for the taping ( which I can't see her just doing the taping and not touring at least once)! But very excited!

I hope Rebecca is the new CW. I'm a huge fan of hers. Her voice is so angel-like and sweet. She reminds me a lot of Lil' Lambe. Although, if she's not the new CW, I know I'll still love whoever it is. But I think she will fit like a glove.
And I hope she's in the special. We'll have to wait and see!

Yes, of course, the show will happen. It's not speculation in that sense. But it's still not official. As for the new member - Synan mentioned meeting Mai C, Mái N and Susan AND meeting Rebecca. And someone has to be the fourth. He didn't mention anyone else. It's vague - and not official - but very likely that it's her.

And I just got confirmation from the helix that it is NOT at their venue. In retrospect they are the coolest people to work with!

I'm sure that's what it means since everything is very secretive?? They prob weren't supposed to say anything and made him take it down and Rebecca's was out of excitement ( heck if I and anyone else for that matterwas asked to join cw I/ everyone else would be beyond excited!!)

His tweet got answers, assuming Rebecca would be the new girl. If she wasn't, he would have simply said so. But he deleted it. That means it's true but he can't say it!

It'll be interesting to see who will be the third vocalist, but by the looks of it, signs are pointing to Rebecca. Perhaps there's also a chance that previous members will rejoin the line-up?

Well if they did not announce it 8 days before the show, I would have make it there.. But airplane fare are so expensive right now plus finding a hotel and everything  :'(

Also noticed a lot of hate posts about the last minute notice. I can understand their frustrations but for God's sake people! Celtic Woman just went through a management change when Maggie left. It's possible that the new Powers That Be have been busy trying to sort stuff out. Give them a break.

Also, MAYBE, after big glitzy extravaganzas like Powerscourt and Atlanta, they may be looking for a smaller, more intimate affair. A family reunion of sorts to launch their second decade, with priority seating given to family, friends and former cast and crew members, who more than likely got more than 8 days notice. I suspect that the Round Room of Mansion House was selected more for its historic significance than its seating capacity, which, I found, is only about half that of the Helix.

I don't mind. It will become a DVD so everyone will be able to see it and they'll make a tour out of it - and on that tour the new line up will be by far more eperienced with their new songs, arrangements, choreography, etc. which will probably make the tour even better.

wow, I think that is record short notice though to tell fans  a week in advance to try and get flight and hotel and work arrangements. I just checked flights yesterday for October and they did go up astronomically from I saw a few week ago. I still love the girls and I would say I don't care if it would have been the same song list but it seems like it would be all new so I am excited! I do hope they at least go to radio city this year (I have not heard any thing yet on the rockettes spring spectacular) So it will be more than likely and much easier for me ;)  ok just took a look at the venue - seats up to 650 and is smaller! It is stunning and [erfect for a teping (they prob are doing indoors as the weather hasn't been great from what I heard from my cousin over there and from people in the Edinburgh tattoo, the weather in that whole area has been rainy and cold (will warm up later they say!) But it seems like the venue and the building is turning 30 years old and they have a number of different things going on through out the year!!! Agree completely! We know that this is at least Mairead C's first show and, as such, she probably wants her family there! Plus, for those complaining about it not being outside, SFTH was considered, even by the girls, their most beautiful taping but also their most difficult. Not just the weather but also the generators went out. Can't blame them for being cautious and utilizing an indoor venue.

It's still a good size venue and absolutely gorgeous! And w the weather I agree but from my sources over there the weather all over the uk and Ireland (which is always 10-15 degree colder) have been absolutely horrible with it raining and being very cold in the low 60s. My cousin said it has been raining so much or very chilly plus some people in the Edinburgh tattoo I follow said it has been freezing and pouring!  Which you can even see from there live webcam all the rain!  So the girls chose a nice venue to keep warm inside and it seems they can make it small as 250 people or open it up to 650 people which they will most likely do. And probably more of a controlled environment lighting wise etc! Even though outdoors would be gorgeous but the elements specially w rain would be hard to deal with on many levels! And from what it looks like the venue is right on the liffey river in the heart of Dublin so I am sure there are going to be some amazing shots on the dvd!!

Not to mention isn't it like the 300th Anniversary of that building or something? (I thought CW's Facebook post said it was built in 1700s)

I sent an email as I was interested by attending the show (though now it's sure I couldn't due to the fact that I can't make the trip there) anyway I got more informations by CW Ltd  and I wanted to share them with you:

"In reply to your query there is no charge for the tickets and seats cannot be pre booked. As there are a limited No of tickets available , they will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

Tickets will be available for collection at the box office in the Mansion House, Dawson Street, Dublin on the night of the concert Thursday 13th August 2015.

Doors open at 7pm and everybody must be seated by 7.30pm. The show should be finished at 9.30pm approx."

Looks like the show will last less than 2 hours, I'm hoping for a DVD of 1 hour and 20 min (like Believe)

If it is Rebecca Winckworth, she will not only be the fifth to be a part of Anúna and CW and the second to be a part of Anúna, the Bluebelles/Babylon Sisters and CW but also the second to be a part of Sweet June and CW and the first to be a part of all four groups! She will also be the fourth CW to have been with Riverdance and the sixth CW to have been in a Michael Flatley show in general. Also she's the fourth former member of Anúna and a Michael Flatley show who joined CW.

I'm hoping for the best, but a lot of the more "die hard" fans than me (are) were right pissed at the timeframe. Less than a week and we only have a guess at who the next member is.

Well, to be frank, I doubt any of the girls are gonna give any hints at all. And why should they? They do like keeping us guessing! Like with the tour lineup this year!

As for fans being angry, I can understand why they might be upset over the last minute thing, but, at the same time, we don't have a clue as to what factors might be involved. True fans won't blame the artists just for doing what they love to do. True fans also don't curse the group or say their done with them altogether just because of something like this.

Frankly, as far as I know, CW never really did give out much advance notice for their old shows. I think SFTH and Believe were the most.

Alright I am going to play devils advocate on this one after some of the comments I have read towards the girls and management specifically and the backlash a certain person got to for it, even though it makes sense. A certain person posted on there facebook about how mad he was at the girls and there decision and a slew of things like I have to quit my job so O can get off last minute and empty my account for airfare that is astronomical (I did check and it went up significantly) and sleep on the street because there is no hotels available (Unfortunately I had a very similar issue when I went last year and it was very scary, and I found a hotel before we had to sleep outside or go far away in an unknown area to maybe get a hotel within hours of having to sleep) which is all true and he has a point BUT like locals were commenting to him and people from NZ and AU they were saying how dare us and how selfish as they were happy to travel on a limb like that (yes they get more holiday time off) and that they did just do a tour in America for over half the year and coming back 2 more times were they barely get to experience that. Which is also very true. I think the kicker and the only other explanation though I can think of is that the girls new months ago and had to wait to make sure that they knew how many family members and friends will be attending and when they got a final total then they released the rest of the tickets to the public. Which I am sure is extremely important to the girls first than anything. It is just sad what was said about the girls though. And we will get to see the concert next year anyways and the girls are from Ireland overall so it is fitting and easier for the girls and the locals and their families who really  don't get to see them. I will still see them though!

As I said, I understand the frustration. But what I DO think is wrong is those people who bash the girls. After all, NONE of them are a part of the management team. So those people who start attacking the girls simply because they're the faces and the stars is wrong on EVERY SINGLE LEVEL.

I agree, I just read some more comments and they are just aweful. I understand the people in the us are mad and rightfully so but the girl are irish after all and rarely  get to perform in Ireland as a group. I love the Europeans and locals defending the decision that they love them and would travel and that we had them over here for months already (not taken in to account 2 more tours here  by the end of the year! And that they are not at fault and have to do what ever management says (like any other job)  They tell them when and where to show up!

I can assure you that the fans you refer to are NOT mad at the girls.  They know that the girls have nothing to do with scheduling or decisions made by management.
The particular person mentioned has been to more than 200 CW shows, likely more than any other fan in the world.  He has spent a fortune on tickets, airfare, hotels, etc., and has helped raise many dollars for the charities of the girls.  He has helped many other fans with tickets and has given all the girls many nice gifts.
I could say more, but I think you get the picture. ;)

That doesn't validate his anger. In fact, if anything, I think it validates the woman from New Zealand's reply even more. He's been to 200+ shows and is complaining cuz he wasn't given notice about this one? I mean, 2 of the last 3 specials were taped in the US for God's sake! I'm an American fan and I'm appalled at the constant negativity coming from these so-called-fans who've been here since the beginning. We here in the States get so much more attention! The last Irish tour, before early this year, was a concert in 2006! So the Irish can count on one hand the number of times they've had the girls there. If you count the concert specials, that's 5 from the tapings and another, what, 3? Shame on those Americans who are complaining so much.

I believe most of the folks in Ireland don't even know who CW is. 
I also believe most of the money generated by CW comes from the US (because of PBS and extensive tours) and Canada. 
I would like to see CD and DVD sales numbers from the various countries.  I doubt Ireland would be very high on the list.
Celtic Woman, Ltd., is a privately owned company and can do whatever they want.  I have no problem with that.
Fans also have a right to express themselves.  I also have no problem with that.  Fans come and go.  CW knows that.  You and I know that.
Some will decide not to support CW by not going to shows or buying the music products.  That is their right.

I'm a little bit apprehensive about adding my own thoughts to this because I realise it's causing a bit of anguish and rightly so.

The venue is a fairly small one and as was mentioned seats only 650 people. I think it's fairly likely the audience will be smaller than that once you take into account a stage (and orchestra) which could potentially be moderately sized. By the time you add in the cast and crew's families, friends, past cast (including ex-choir) members, I imagine there wouldn't be that many seats left. Even if they had given us more notice, there could still have been many disappointed people.

As other people have pointed out there'll be a tour to North America anyway, so it's nice to give some of their Irish fans a chance to attend a show.

I can't go, anyway.  I need to stay here and eat chocolate cake and ice cream. ;)

 I  think  there  is  probably  a  bit  of  chaos  with  the  new  management  and  the  faster  than  ever  changing  landscape  of  our  front  line  talent .  The  venue  selection  may well  be  the  best  they  could  get  under  short  notice. I am  sure  there  are  a lot  of factors  we don't  know  about.  But  I trust it  will  be  a  wonderful  show  regardless.  I look  forward.    :)  

Plus, I don't have a passport.  I would have to sneak into Ireland, probably at night by boat (submarine?).
And, I'm sure the show will be fine, but this fudge cake is maybe the best I've ever had. :)

Usually a new girl gets adjusted to entering CW in a tour 1st, whoever this new girl be, however because of CW10 in the line
this new person cannot, therefore Lynn's on board. This would be the first since Hayley guested on ANJ.. The original 4 were the same, but first show in 2005 was a 1 night thing.

Don't be surprised if by chance Alex or Meav were as a Guest again..

They just posted on their Facebook page explanations regarding the hateful comments. The reason why the taping was announcing on such short notice it is because they were looking at different options.
Also they said that the numbers of tickets available are approx 300 and they are free of charges. The special will be shown on PBS by December this year, is it possible that they might be doing another Xmas show? But my guess is that they're doing a completely new show and December is the perfect time to promote the new album/tour ect.

What a terrible group of "fans." Acting as though they're entitled to some preferential treatment! Here's a news flash for those people: They're not. No group should be forced to attempt to cater to the every whim of a select contingency of their fan base. And people wonder why the rest of the world has such a low opinion of Americans! Agree "The Bloody Irish" with Lisa Lambe--not the Celtic Woman DVD filming.  But then, we all could be wrong.

I thought Lisa's Twitter feed said she'd see him in 2 weeks.... And the special is being filmed next week. I could be wrong though.

I absolutely agree! What really bugs me is how hard Celtic Woman works to make their fans happy, and this is how some of them repay them by acting like spoiled brats. That just breaks my heart. They work so hard for us, and don't get the appreciation they deserve sometimes.

For all the members to share a piece of holiday treatment with CW is just being fair all members are equal,
So if HFC was suggested in 2010 Susan, Lisa L would not be in a holiday special if was done earlier..

Knowing  who  will  be  in  the   line-up  could  very  well  be  THE  deciding  factor  as  to  who  actually  goes  there. If  I  had  the  moola- which  I don't-  I would  want  to know  who was  going  to  be  on  stage  before I went  out  of  my  way  like  that. Letting  folks  know  this  beforehand is  both  simple  common  courtesy and  good  business  sense  at  the  same time.    8)   

True enough and I understand what you're saying. However, if, as is expected, there's a new girl joining, I would want people to be surprised if I was the CW team. Sometimes the unexpected is a much better draw factor than the expected.

Yes ...for specials it's big but Especially on Tours even more like if in October I decided not to go because I didn't think Alex would participate for example and then last minute they announce she be involved, I would be bummed.

In a way all CW member's are worth seeing, but since it's 10 year's and one wanted to catch Meav or Alex or Lynn because they never got to in the past
then in a way last minute announcement's, looses opportunities in more tickets (+) investment interests.

This Special will perhaps in a way be similar to like newness like Believe but more surprising than Lisa L since we knew her on tour earlier for 1 year, since the new girl will be the first time we experience her with the group
like Hayley amazed us on Anj.    ::)

MC replied on Instagram to someone asking who is the fourth girl as we were all supposed to know last week. She said:

Actually, I think not. Enya is talented in her own right, but doesn't fit CW. Not in style, not in presence. Also, her main talent is that of a composer, not as a singer. Don't get me wrong here - she's great, but not fitting for CW.

I have my doubts but i hope you are right. It would be great if she became a permanent member. I just dont know, b/c she has several pets (and a horse) & i think she lives by herself.  I dont think she would want to be away from them for more than 4-5 months at a time...

I think Eabha is going to be incredible with CW! Just did a quick YouTube search and found she is an amazing sean-nós singer. Truly unique, powerful, haunting voice.

When Riverdance was getting started they used Anúna as their choir. As the show got bigger they started using their own choir and Anúna wen their own way. So yes, Éabhe was technically in both.

I think it will be a brand new show ;) I was hoping for a big reunion and a big celebration for this special year but Alex, Meav and Lynn came back to us so it's more than nothing ;)

I, too, think it will be a brand new show, not a recording of the Anniversary tour. However, it may be called the Anniversary show, like the recording of the second Believe tour was called Emerald, while Emerald was a completely different tour.

I doubt they'd record another best of! It will be new.

Agreed. And it's easier to just start a new section now while its still small and just change the name as opposed to creating the section later and struggling to find all the corresponding threads scattered across the site.

RTL is a German tv channel and Oonagh is connected to it (she sang the intro to a season of their version of Big Brother) and as she now mentioned on facebook to have recorded a song with CW and that she's heading for Dublin to film something with them... well, she might be a surprise. Like a special appearance on that song. I can't recall RTL ever having aired a CW special :/

Yeah I caught that details too haha but Chloe is now in Amsterdam! She posted a photo on Instagram of her in a plane. I wish we would have a special appearance tonight such as Orla or Deirdre. I would assume David is still the one doing the music but perhaps he was simply too busy. He was missing from Emerald with the exception of Lisa's Bridge solo.

Apparently no :( though he may has done the recording sessions with the girls but since he did not evoke at all the special in his latest tweets and statements, I'm assuming he doesn't work with the girls at least for this show. I guess we will find out more after tonight, I'm wondering how this show will be, I feel like things are different this time, something new and different is about to happen.

Well, some things have to change, in the sense of development. However, I hope David will stay with CW, even though he won't be at every show.

I hope too, but someone new and talented would be great for the group too, he or she could bring a new twist to CW. I'm still wondering why they waited a couple of years to put on a brand new show (beside Home For Christmas I mean). One of my thought and fear at the time was that David may no longer had inspirations for CW.

Just listened to the songs I could find on youtube. Unless some original songs have the same titles, none of these are original which is a bit sad imo. BUT I thought that Óró Sé do Bheatha ‘Bhaile sounded familier, and sure enough I have heard it and love it. The more modern version of the song uses Grace O'Malley (earlier versions use Charles) so I really hope they use the version with her mentioned. Look her up if you don't know her history, its super fascinating!

"Many times" could have meant some for the CW show and some for the David project.  Since she was a CW guest, it likely didn't take as much of her time as it would for the other ladies.

Was David Downes there for this DVD? I've seen tweets about him working with Lisa Lambe on "The Bloody Irish" on Twitter and at the same time Celtic Woman Tweets about show time and pic of stage. I don't think he'll be running to and fro between songs. They were both posted at the same time. One by him and by Lisa. Also said that they were working together today on the new show.(Meaning "The Bloody Irish")

So the new show is called "Destiny"! Great name for the 10th anniversary and great place to have a concert to be called "Destiny". We may need to rename the topic to the show title since we know the name now.

I have found the tale of Tir Na Nog, but not a song. Perhaps it's an original? When You Go is surely original, same for Terloc's Dream. There is a song called When You Go, but that's no CW material; Terloc's Dream does not seem to exist otherwise. I wonder if The Whole of the Moon is the Waterboys song, which could be arranged for CW, but doesn't really fit or an original with the same title?

I think we will have to wait until it is on tv or for the DVD to be released.

Based on the setup Meav is in part both Act 1 & Act 2
Perhaps Meav is guest for the special but considered in group,
otherwise Meav's Appearance look's pretty small.

When your a guest never been a cw it makes sense ok 1 or 2 performances,
but Meav's no ordinary guest.
I figure more she would play a larger guest role than Guest Rebecca and Oonagh.

so this was cool I googled "The Hills Of Ireland" to listen to it and was shocked to find that it was a song that I had on a CD when I was 13 but I lost it and didn't know the name of it, I always wanted to find it again but never could but I'm so glad to know that Celtic Woman is putting their take on it I can't wait to hear it! I can almost imagine Mairead N dancing around to it while fiddling away

I've always wanted to hear Orla sing "Like an Angel Passing Through My Room," but honestly, I would be happy with ANY of the girls singing it! I can't wait to hear it Celtic Woamn-afied! :) Plus I LOVE ABBA!

Honestly, I hope CW maintains The Parting Glass to close the show. It's the perfect farewell song.

They may be doing that on tour, but not in this recording.

I know it's not in the special. I was referring to the tour. My Land is a beautiful song (LOVED Orla's version) but as a show closer, nothing compares to Celtic Woman's The Parting Glass. It wouldn't even bother me if they did away with YRMU on tour so long as The Parting Glass is kept.

My Land is in the middle of the show, the end of act 1. Westering Home is the show closer. Or actually, it's Danny Boy right after it.

From what I know there was no ceili song. The outro was Hills of Ireland so I'm guessing it was a reprise like the Ceili Playout. Nobody talked about Danny Boy maybe it was just an encore ( I might have read that somewhere)

and also with ride on from ct (Ryan sings it!) I love the song though and heard it for the first time at the concert and loved it! It is faster and I thin Mairead is going to do the fiddle as nicole and laura were rocking out to it and it was definitely a memorable part of the show and listen to it all the time and can't wait to have the girls version! And like the my land songs from both ct and orla's!

oh ok!  I meant during the ct concert I just notice Laura and NIcole mainly rocking out to it! ANd It is very heavy in Vioin/strings so I would not be surprised if Mairead N helped out on it! Even though I think Mc and Eabha will do an amazing job on the song!!

Actually I'm almost glad they didn't include I Know My Love. The song itself is beautiful and Mairead C is wonderful, but I didn't like that particular arrangement. Lynn's version on The Roots Of Ireland was much better in my humble opinion :)

  I  recently  received  Meav's  quarterly  newsletter  in  my  E-mail this  past  week.   Meav  said  that  in  addition  to  performing  in  the  DVD  taping,  that  she  was  also  a  creative  consultant  in  the  filming  as well.  she  implied  that  she  had something  to  do with  the  infusion  of  fresh  material.  Our  Sweet  Lady  Meav  is  a  very  smart  and  multi-talented  lady.    :)    :-*
