Title: Lisa Finds Celtic Chicken
Post by: Celtic Chicken on December 07, 2008, 11:14PM
Somebody should tell Lisa not to pick up hitchhikers.  Now Celtic Chicken has found her way over here.

Lisa, (alias bestest singer in the whole world) has become so famous she is now being stalked by a delusional chicken who thinks Lisa is her biggest fan.  The other Celtic Women do not share the opinion or lack of talent of this wanna be Celtic Woman Chicken.  Can even the angels of Ireland be saved from this feathered offense to ears.
They threaten to make Lisa do extra time in the meet and greet line with the chicken if she doesn't shut it up.  Lisa who is very intelligent and knows chickens can not be reasoned with, ponders the idea of teaching it to lipsynch.

Much to the dismay of the other Celtic Women,  Lisa goes shopping
for new clothes for the 14th time in one week.  They secretly think of sending her to a shoppers anonymous meeting.

The Celtic Woman Thrift Store sells tobacco & Guinness?

If Lisa ever catches that Celtic Chicken will she be plucked then turned over to Genral Tso or Colonel Sanders?   :D

Lisa gets a flash of insight and realizes that in order to keep Celtic Chicken from singing with the group she would find another job to keep her busy.

Chickens have teeny brains and do not consider the consequences of their actions.  And of course humans do not consider the consequences to themselves from underestimating the power of a teeny brain.

Do not worry about Lisa catching Celtic Chicken.  All the still photos Celtic Chicken looked at  show Lisa standing there smiling with her mouth open.  Celtic Chicken thinks she won't even need a running head start.

Of course the Celtic Woman Thrift Shop sells tobacco and Guiness.  They have to make a profit don't they?

Even though Celtic Chicken felt she could get her student to jump another 6 inches higher to break the record,  Mairead discontinued her lessons and threatened to break her violin over Lisa's head if she ever hired a chicken to tutor her again.  Now Lisa had to find another job for Celtic Chicken.  Anything to keep her from singing with the group.  What harm could she do being a booking agent.  She'd be out of the studio and no one would ever hire an act promoted by a chicken.  Or so she thought.  The very next day Celtic Chicken informed the girls they were going on a world tour.  Their first stop was an Old Gnome's Home.

After 30 seconds in the meet and greet line at the Gnome Rest Home, the girls are back in the mini chicken cooper and off to lovely Lost Vegas USA.  Expecting to arrive in Las Vegas the city of lights and casinos and luxury hotels, the girls are awe stricken at the sight.  Okay Lisa may we ask that High Celtic Queen Chicken of yours where the heck our luxury hotel the Burger King is?

Lisa informs them that Celtic Chicken has booked them into the ecofriendly section.  None of those nasty hydrocarbons and electricity and flourided up city water. She didn't want us to have to be subjected to a bunch of "Elvis is not Dead and threw his sweaty snot rag at me during his last concert" fanatics.  So she booked us at this PETA protest to save the earth and then Ireland.

At first there was a protest but eventually after 2 weeks in the desert with no make up person,  they all agreed Ireland was worth saving since that's where they did their banking anyway.  They reluctantly proceeded with their usual stunning performance and received a standing moo from their adoring American audience.  In gratitude,  Lisa was assigned to the meet and greet duties in a dead tree along with a roosting chicken.

And I propose that we should make Celtic Chicken our mascot!!!!!!!

The girls were really excited to learn that Celtic Chicken had booked them for the Ellis Island of Hope Performance.  They could hardly wait to get to the Big Apple.  Finally maybe the nightmare tour was over and things would get back to normal as they were accustomed to. Their euphoria was short lived.  The performance was cancelled. They had used up all their funds.  Thank goodness Celtic Chicken had booked a back up command performance nearby.  But first they had to get her out of her funky chicken coma.  The 20,000 milligrams of Prozac seemed to do the trick and they headed off for the Empire State Building.

At last.  Success.  An actual paying performance at the Empire State Building.  Out of gratitude Lisa was volunteered by the group for the opening act. (Well actually the whole act).  It lasted two days and that was just the first and only song.  If Lisa hadn't kept shaking and letting her teeth rattle from a little stage fright, it might have gotten over  sooner.  At least she shook so back that some change fell of their generous patron's pocket and the girls scooped it up and got a nice hot dog bun from a street vendor to share amongst themselves.  They couldn't afford the hot dog,  but there was a free all you can eat mustard bar.  They did kind of secretly wonder how a mustard bun would taste with a roasted chicken pattie inside.

they all agreed Ireland was worth saving since that's where they did their banking anyway.

Speaking of Irish banks, can we get a Celtic Chicken McNugget of wisdom , a fine feathered financial forecast, for Anglo-Irish Bank? I bet Celtic Chicken's day job is a stock market egg-spert. A couple months ago a guy on CNBC recommended the stock, and it was like $10 a share. Now its trading at 50 cents a share, just Celtic Chicken feed of its former self. Would this be an egg-cellent stock to buy to create a nest...egg? As the Guinness guys say on their commercial "Brilliant". In the financial world the Celtic Chicken Little sky has already fallen. Not much farther to fall. Or should the bank's executives all be hen-pecked and should investors just buy lottery tickets?

Well Celtic Chicken has noticed that the chicken stock soup base hasn't gone down any. The chicken noodles are up.  Colonel Saunders is going through the roof. ( well that's just speculation that a bunch of terrorist chickens are going to blow up the fryer).
Celtic Chicken thinks your safest bet is to invest in breading.  If you can't sell it at least you can glue it to a chicken and not starve to death.  Here is a nugget from her.
If you invest in stock...you can always look forward to being a stock boy.

Hammie Sammie  can you see the pictures yet?  They're linked to a photo site called ImageShack where they are stored.  Maybe the site was down at the time.  Can anybody else not see them?

Sensing that touring was making the girls a little homesick, Celtic Chicken swings by Ireland and surprises Orla with a new Garden Makeover.  Orla is ecstatic.  The other girls leave for what they say is a hasty shopping trip.  A tourist passing by overheard them saying they had never seen sweet little Orla with a shovel in her hands running around like Mairead.

The girls have a day off to go sightseeing as it's not like they've ever seen Ireland before.  But Lisa is nowhere to be found.  Chloe goes over to Lisa's house to find her.  She calls the others to tell them Lisa has to babysit because Celtic Chicken has a date.  The others are very happy for Celtic Chicken and hope she gets back late.  (Like 6 months late when the tour is over.)

Celtic Chicken having overheard that Lisa had done some obscure  Irish backhill clover stompin'  show called Riverdance,  immediately booked her for an encore performance outside the Slane castle.  Lisa eagerly agreed.  Little did she know that Slane was a sheep farmer, who like all men considered his barn his castle.   Being suddenly thrust into this unfamiliar country entertainment  extravaganza, she was totally unprepared.  She would earn recognition as the The Voice that sang "May it Be" during the "Beer Barrel Polka".

Dancing sheep on a river! wow what can one say? CC (can we just call you CC instead of typing Celtic Chicken out all the time ? hey I can get lazy - or maybe we should call you C Chick?) Anyway, does one need advanced computer training and programs to do these types of graphics, or can a computer illiterate schmuck like me buy a computer program, spend a few hours learning it, then produce similar results?

Of course, even if I could get the technical aspect of it down, I doubt that I could match CC's creativity and celtic comedy capacity.

Answers to questions.

Yes you can call Celtic Chicken  CC.  I do it too when she isn't watching.  She prefers "Queen of Queens most highest of all chickens mighthy warrioress who could kick Boudicca's butt while still looking gorgeous and fresh with perfect hair, make-up and attitude before a multitude of worshipping fans and adoring Displaced Druids while completely renovating a crumbling evicted Templar's castle in between
running a business, running for the senate and running illegal criminals out the country all the while  singing I can bring home the bacon and fry it up in the pan."  But due to this busy schedule, she doesn't have time to read this column so you can get away with the less formal  CC.

Yes you can make pictures like I do.  There is a free program called DAZ.  You have to buy the computer models but there are a lot of cheap ones and some are even free.  There's a fairly decent tutorial at the website.  But anyway,  you buy these little 3d computer graphic models and just pose them and do lights on them.  I just always get some free file with lights somebody else did since I can't tell what I'm pointing them at in the picture.  Anyway you click the render button and save it as a png and then you have something to cut and paste on your background picture or you can import a background picture right into the program and but it in back of your model and save it as  as a bmp or jpeg.   But anyway,  here's the website that can explain it way better than I can.
http://www.daz3d.com (http://www.daz3d.com)

It took me a while but I need extensive step by step pictured directions to figure anything out.  Then I even demand a movie and popcorn or else I refuse to comprehend anything. I am still  trying to remember your names as you have all been so kind as to mention Celtic Chicken in your posts.  You may not know it but posting to a chicken is a sacred ritual.  It now means you have an heir for life as they expect you to put them in your will.

So hello to Cash, Western Rose,  Lisa Kelly Fan forever( since it takes that long to type your user name), Bookworm, Old Fat Guy, Baby Wickie, Kelli, Chloe Fan, Jeannie, Sammie, Irishdreame.  If I forgot anyone,  don't worry.  I'll forget everyone else in 5 minutes so that will make you the first to have been forgotten.  That means you're number one.

After living on Starbucks  for weeks, Celtic Chicken decides to treat the girls to some fine organic dining.  Won't they be surprised when they find out she threw out all that chocolate they kept under the car seat to make room for her hundred pound bag of corn.  She knew they'd be appreciate that you get a discount when you buy in bulk.

Now Rosie,  as for Celtic Chicken taking a bath in the KFC sink,  she might as well use it as she'll probably be the only one there that actually ever washed anything.

Thank you Ceallsach,  Orlagh always looks forward to Celtic Chicken's gardening tips.

Okay Snookie,  you love chicken.  But Celtic Chicken wants to know why there is an empty  MacChicken box on your car seat.  Is that tough love or are you just making a fashion statement with breading and mayo down the front of your shirt?

Yes but she will be wearing cement shoes if she doesnt treat the girls right after this. Forcing them to pull a sleigh...thats transportation. So if the girls unionize, its no longer the musicians union, its the Teamsters! And you all know who runs them.  :o   :D

By the way, Meav's collar is huge. I see a grievance coming soon to a certain celtic chicken claus. Also, only 5 doing the work of 8? I know the economy is tough, but geesh...even claus cutting back and laying people off? Thats another grievance too. Well on the bright side, Alex, Lynn, Deirdre, and Hayley somehow escaped CC Claus's conscription.

Also, is it just me, or does Mairead look sort of shorter with the antlers?  :D

Yes that is a garter.  She likes to show off her nice legs and drive men wild.  Lisa's are nice too but in no way measure up to Celtic Chicken.

Wickie...Celtic Chicken thanks you for being easily amused.

Now Cash the only way Celtic Chicken will wear cement shoes is if she steals them out of Lisa's closet.  Who runs the teamsters?  Isn't it that guy they put in a ball park frank?  And just because Meav knows law,  Celtic Chicken cannot be held responsible if she likes being a flashy dresser.

Now as for Alex, Haley, Lynn and Deirdre, I  only discovered Celtic Woman a couple of months ago and hadn't seen those other girls yet.   I saw a PBS Christmas special then went looking on the web. So far I only have one Christmas CD of Celtic Woman that I just got last week and it has the original 5 of them on it.     But I did see a utube today of Haley in the group so I'll have to let Celtic Chicken know to go looking for her.  They won't be able to hide forever from a chicken.

Celtic Chicken has redone the lyrics for You Raise Me Up for the Isle of Hope tour so people don't get tired of hearing the same song over and over.  You don't want them hollering "Hey I already paid for that one last year and demand a discount."

"You raised me Up"

When I am broke from paying bills and weary.
When VISA comes and ulcers burn in me.
My phone rings and I sit here in silence.
'cause your collection agents threaten me.

You raised me up.. the interest on my VISA
You raised me up... from 10 to 33
All my payments went to pay your interest
You raised me up.. so I can't pay my fee.

There is no life .. no life with a maxed VISA.
My credit rating's trashed as it can be.
When will it ever get all paid I wonder.
I think I just eyeballed eternity.

You raised me up .. so I can live on mountains.
Because my landlord just evicted me.
I'd like to knock your head off of your shoulders.
You raised me up.. to file for bankruptcy.

No No Snookie ...not a box....Celtic Chicken wants whats on your shirt.
Chickens like breading sun roasted over a cotton polyester glaze.

Yes Kathleen those Irish girls know what to do with potatoes.  They sell them to discount retail stores in America to make Mr Potato Heads so the American girls will have something to snuggle on the couch with instead of hitting on all their Irish men that come over to do the Riverdance.

Well Wickie...if it's a gift,  I can't find a single store that will take it back no matter how many fake receipts I print out on my inkjet.  They keep on insisting that they don't sell Celtic Chickens.  Hey they can't even find
their 8 week old expired bread on sale let alone a Celtic Chicken.

At some point chicken cannibals must eat something else. Otherwise, as a species, chickens would become....egg-stinct!   :D

Also, our cannibal chickens appear to be on a beach somewhere, like a resort. Would this be the famous place the Beach Boys once had a song about.....Yolk-amo?   :D

It could be, Cash! ;D

Maybe some cannibal chicken came up with a version, close to the Beach Boys', that stated that plenty of raw chickens were sitting on the beach. Although, when they arrived, they found that it was just a joke. So, they boiled the chicken that came up with the song. That explains the kettle and the...ahem, skullball game. :D

Alex joins Celtic Woman.
While Alex (who has played Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz ever since she wasn't old enough to drink), is questioning a chicken who she mistakes for the Wicked Witch of the East due to a house malfunction,  Toto steals the show.  Celtic Woman wanted Toto but a Celtic Woman Gown and a fire hydrant don't go well together so they took Alex instead.

Once a year on Boudicca day,  after a rousing morning of playing Stomp the Roman, a Plunder and Spoils bake off contest, and a how to look hot amid the carnage make over, the women of the Emerald Isles go cruising out by the ocean to pick up Vikings on shore leave.

No they're just cheap lead coated plaster knockoffs.  Haley picked up the wrong suitcase at the airport.  Of course when that Dragon Lady that got hers shows up at the "Illegal Underground Chinese Tong Bloodsport Van Damme Sucky Acting  Kumate"  in a celtic gown and no hood ornament money,  things are gonna get real dicey fast.

Now Celtic Chicken can also arrange for you ladies to meet Lisa if you were to leave a little picture laying around loose on the forum.  Anything laying around loose is fodder for a chicken you know.  Of course you may look  different to protect your identity but not your reputation which will be completely trashed after Celtic Chicken gets to it.

Okay...now which of the celtic girls are going on the Isle of Hope tour?  Celtic chicken has to get them in the group and ready to go first. Haven't gotten to Lynn yet or Deirdre.  Have to read up on them.  Of course that really doesn't matter I guess since Celtic Chicken will lie about them anyway.

But if you base your lies on actual facts, we will have to start calling you Counselor Celtic Chicken.  :D

<quickly ducking from the legal eagle forum members>   :D

oh speaking of Eagles...

We dont see any Eagles dropping footballs (bombs)on the Vikings boat in your pic. I guess you dont follow American football, because the Philadelphia Eagles beat the Minnesota Vikings this past weekend in playoff action. The Vikings will be back next year though, but I stiill think a Super Bowl isnt in the near future for them.

Deep in the forest was a sacred tree spirit worshipped by a fierce tribe of Barbarian ducks. Every year on the day of Boudicca's journey into the spirit realm (also known as "I totally screwed up letting the Romans sucker me into that")  from inside the tree spirit came of most haunting melody of "There's a tear in my beer".  It could mezmerize chickens and rednecks anywhere within a 60,000 mile radius.  Celtic chicken was drawn to the singing tree like Native Americans to a casino.  On the other side of the forest a young lady was chasing a golden retriever that had become overwhelmed with chicken fumes up his nostrils.  Lisa had gone looking for Celtic Chicken to tell her that Maev had left to do her solo career of singing and telling dead chicken jokes at the Displaced Druid Comedy Club.  Fate brought all the ingrediants together for Lynn to become a new celtic woman. Fate was not so kind to her doggie as she got no chicken dinner that day.   Now every year on the Day of Boudicca's journey into the spirit realm,  the Barbarian Ducks leave an offering of a giant bottle of extra strength excederin to their beloved sacred tree spirit.

Okay you guys are great and as such,  Celtic Chicken wishes to form a posse for Lisa.  I will  make little characters to represent those who wish to join so need a tidbit of info relating to you in some way.  As above Mel had a viking hat on his logo so I made him a viking.  The name Baby Wickie conjured up a baby fairy.  They have not agreed to join the posse yet with these characters so they are just an example and if they wish to complain Celtic Chicken will put on earphones and turn up I am the Voice full blast to drown you out.  So now,  if you wish to be in the posse,  name an object or animal or something you wish to be assosiated with.  You may even have an idea of what you might like.  Say old fat man lives up north,  he could be a funny snowman.  Whatever,  gotta go but will be back should you wish to accept this mission.

Well thank you all.  Coco not only are you taller you got a promotion too.  I spelled your number wrong.  You went from 84 to 88.
Are you the one with Zeta?  I clicked on someone's link to their website and went and saw this absolutely adoreable kitty named Zeta.

Now remember you can request a makeover on your characters or have some idea added to it or have it doing something else.  Well except maybe for poor Mel as he is just a gnome picture and I don't have a 3d gnome to torture.  Of course I can always find other gnome pictures and pretend they are Mel.  After all,  who knows what Mel looks like after he wakes up in the morning after a big night of viking football and beer before he gets all prettied up?

Maybe I should find Old Fat Guy a Hawaiian Shirt and some golf shoes.  Have to get him an extra big golf cart to carry all those Celtic Woman pictures around.   Oh gotta go shovel some snow.  Catch ya all later.

I like the idea of a group shot.  When is the Chicago encounter?  If it's going to be for all the girls,  I can modify the characters so they don't all say Lisa on them.

Oh and here's a list of some of the cartoon character models I have that could be used.

shark
crocodile
male and female hippo
male and female elephant (like old fat guy's)
male and female penguin (like cool2it)
duck
horse (and pegasus wings)
donkey
giraffee
male and female bear (doctor and nurse)
cow
lemur
gekko
frog
chameleon
baby (like baby wickie)
emotie
2 different mouses
monster rat
teddy bear
I think I have a toon  dog and cat

Somewhat more regular looking animals (like the coco cat)
horse
dogs
cats
birds
people
camel
cow
snake
seal
walrus
orca
dolphin
fish

I, like Lisa, have performed on stage at the Elmira Clemens Center. (Lisa with Riverdance, me with a couple local choirs.) Of course, the audience didn't hold their ears and throw tomatoes when Lisa was there.

Could I be a big ol' opera singer, or maybe a walrus or hippo?

Maybe in smaller letters you could put our name on our character.  If you put us on a stage and had that elephant guy on one side you could slant the stage in his direction!!! LOL    Rich--- Kelli told me to say that!!!  ::)   ::)  ::)  ::) :D  :D

CC-- The Chicago M&G is on the 17th of February. Not much time for you, I know, Sorry. I'm sure someone could print out pictures but alas not me-- printers down.  I think it would really be great if you could use all the girls, past and present, in the picture  ( notice how I keep adding to your task!! sorry)  but Orlagh, Meav and Deirdre helped so very much in making what is now the wonderful group of ladies known as "  Celtic Woman" !!

Title: Re: Lisa Finds Celtic Chicken
Post by: Celtic Chicken on January 29, 2009, 06:48PM
Okay Feb 17th could probably be okay.
Now before I get started on the gang picture,  would  anybody who already has a character like to change it in someway like different clothes or pose or be a different character?  I know sometimes when you see something else  you think oh I wish I had thought of that instead.  If you would like to see what any of the models look like before you decide I can make a quick sample of the basic character not doing anything to show you.

Edtom how about a hippo singing opera?  Would you like to wear a tux or one of those Valkyrie costumes with the horns on the hat and the hubcaps on the chest?

Kellie  do you want to be a dog playing a harp or a person playing a harp with a dog by you?

Angie ..how about a dancing cat with a red rose in it's mouth (could be wearing Lisa's red dress).

Kathleen I have a shopping cart model (like the grocery store kind).  Do you want to be a person with two boys in the cart or an animal with two baby animals in the cart?   Would you like them duct taped to cart (I know how kids are)  ;D  Or maybe have you holding a shopping bag with the kids doing whatever.  (like screaming for toys...I know how kids are) ;D

Okay as soon as I get a confirmation the character is the way you want,  I'll put it into the big picture.  Any ideas on what would be a good background?  Don't know if we'll be able to see it once we cram everyone into the picture.  Anybody have any preferences of which picture of each of the girls they like?  (The kind of bigger ones with more detail would work the best.)   Maybe if I get the picture done a little early,  we can have someone near the person with no printer, print it out and mail it to them.

Yep I got a frog.  Hopefully you don't want to be a frogleg sticking out of someone's mouth.

Oh I just remembered I have a Lizard (with a trenchcoat I think).  I also have a couple of regular dinosaurs.

How about a picture of Chicago for the background like this.

Hi Celtic Chicken,

Maybe you could do something poetic with them.

I found a couple more models on my puter.   I have a toon piggy,  a more realistic pig,  a deer, and a sheep and a toon lamb.  Toon aliens, a toon robot, mushroom pixies, a toon tree with eyes mouth and nose and 2 branches are arms with hands on them and no leaves.

Rosie1 do you have any pictures of your westies?  I don't think I have a westie but I could cut and paste a picture off the net of some.  Would you like them with the bee and the rose or leave the bee out and just have the westies with the rose?

Celtic Dreamer

..................

Sammie
the picture is done with a 3d program called DAZ (which I think is still free).  Then you buy little 3d computer models.  Depending on how the person built the model you can move parts around and pose it.  Then there are things called props (like the football).  They don't have moving parts but you can turn them around so you're looking at it from any direction. Then you put lights on it so depending on what lights you use, you can get very different looks.  I don't like messing with shining lights on stuff so I just scrounge up free light sets other people made and click on it.  If I don't like the way it lit the scene up, I just click on another one.

Since things don't always fit right,  I then take the picture of the character from the 3d program into a 2d editing program called Photoshop.  Then I cut and paste to fix up things that didn't come out the way I wanted in the 3d program or cut out some picture on the web to add things to it. (This is how Celtic Chicken steals all of Lisa's clothes.)

It's really fun and anybody here could do it.  It took me quite a while to figure the program out until I found a good beginner tutorial.  Most people don't take as long as I did.   You don't have to be an artist to make a picture.  Now there are some artists on the web I've seen that do this stuff and it just blows you away it's so good.

OK.  I will.  The astronaut is ME.  I'm an amateur astronomer and applied for the Teacher-in-Space program in the 1980's.
The crazy giraffe is my wife, Cindy.  Notice the skis?  She loves to cross-country ski!  Lucky for us we have lots of snow!

Alright everybody.....get out your fiddles as Celtic Chicken is hosting me a pity party.  I worked for hours on Kathleen's character today and had it all done except for I finishing touch,  I cut and pasted.  Then instead of closing the picture I had cut out of, i closed the picture of the character.  Of course it asked me if I wanted to save it and I said no thinking it was the cut out picture.  Well el poofo it's gone forever.  We semi old ladies like to blame these lapses on our lack of concentration to our arthritis.  We will never admit that staying up all night until 7 in the morning trying to figure out how to milk a cow in runescape may have contributed.  The cow kept telling me it didn't want that darn bucket after I went all the way back to the castle to get it.  And not only that,  after being disrespected by a cow, the darn flour I ground up at the windmill wouldn't let me put it in the jar I went all the way back to the castle to get.   Ohhhhh the torture of listening to myself bemoaning my cruel fate.  And the world thinks it has problems.  Little do they know the pain of getting no sympathy from a chicken.  Well I got found an egg at the chicken farm and as soon as I get that flour in the jar,  that almost future chicken in a shell is gonna be a big hunk of bread which I will use to slap on both sides of that disrespecting cow and sell her to Burger King.  Of course Celtic Chicken doesn't know I whacked a few chickens with my sword on the way back from the ranch to vent my inner hostilities of feeling intellectually inferior to flour.

And yes, we all are going to work on getting you to a CW concert!!!   I would love to watch you watch the girls for the first time!!  And then just see if we would end up with Characters for them!!! Waiting for confirmation and any remakes on this one so can't say who it might be yet.   I have to lighten it up a little bit too as some things you have to lighten up because they look darker after you post them.

Rosie's little Westies showed up to be in Lisa's posse along with her.  And as you see Rosie has composed a beautiful tribute poem to Celtic Chicken.  Of course anything exaulting Celtic Chicken will someday be sold on ebay as a classic by some honest entrepeneur that spams everyone,  writes viruses,  steals identities and hides duct tape in their fingers for when the collection basket passes by them in church.

Thankyou so much.

Well have them stop by and see my kitty Dusty.  She'll give them a big kiss.  I hope they don't mind tuna breath.  Hmmm  I wonder if they even have tuna breath in Heaven.  I asked Celtic Chicken but she just rolled her eyes and said "I don't do Tuna".  Chickens are so rude.

Oh yeah she's hot fellas.  Lisa's going to have to step up her game to continue as the Alpha Man Magnet.  Celtic Chicken just might become Jenny's manager and teach her to sing. Don't you wish your girlfriend was hot like me.    Okay Old Fat Guy....quit drooling on the monitor and get back to fan club business.
Oh Celtic Chicken feels all the love and admiration you all lavish upon her (as you are afraid you'll find a chicken lurking under your bed at night if you don't.)  All is right with the world.  Well chickens think the world is the coop and Colonel Saunders is an evil entity from another dimension.  May the Force be with you (as long as you keep up your payments to the utilities company).

Okay how many of us old geezers graduated from Whatsamatta U?   Thank you Mr Know it All!!

And now I wish to thank the Chicago crowd for the lovely autographed picture of themselves which Rich's printer did an awesome job on.  I was amazed at the quality.  And I almost threw the envelope away as I didn't see it down in the bottom of the mailer when I took the picture out.  Thank you for the 2 buttons.  I shall keep them handy in case a load of that Garret's popcorn and Irish chocolate fall off the CW tour bus and I eat it all and bust the zipper on my jeans.  Then I can pin them up with my new CW buttons.   I am very pleased with my gifts.  Much better than one of those sweaty things Elvis used to hand out.  And Celtic Chicken can't wait to forge all those signatures on downloaded charity save the  chickens forms with herself as the sole recipient.

Hey CC.

Here is where your cousins will be parading on March 7 and festival on the 13-15th.

http://www.ostrichfestival.com/ (http://www.ostrichfestival.com/)

I hear that maybe Lisa might be looking for you.

http://www.ostrichfestival.com/attractions/details/26-ostrich-races.html (http://www.ostrichfestival.com/attractions/details/26-ostrich-races.html)

The Ostrich egg will weigh 1600 gm and is equivalent to 2 dozen chicken eggs.
An Ostrich Hen can lay 40 -100 eggs per year, averaging about 60 eggs per year.

Now with that group that Lisa is traveling with, they need an ostrich or two. Netter than a Chicken and since they can travel 45 miles per hour for 30 minutes, they can pull the tour buses. When they are done, Lisa's kids can ride them.

oh where is that stew pot?

:)

Title: Re: Lisa Finds Celtic Chicken
Post by: Celtic Chicken on March 22, 2009, 03:49AM
Okay you guys....what's been going on here.  You're all too funny.  Good thing Celtic Chicken doesn't have a sense of humor or she'd wet herself from laughing.  Well we now have to have an official Stupid Celtic Woman Forum Fans Tricks.  While going out the door with my bag of clothes for the laundrymat,  I went down the basement stairs on my back head first.  Must have been cold that day and I thought I was a toboggan or something.  Good thing the squirrels didn't see me and jump on for the ride.  They don't have licenses to drive old ladies and we're very law minded up here in Bay City.   Then there's those dreaded mammogram machines.  I always forget to take my paint scraper to get my body parts back off of it.  And on top of that I grew a polyp.  Oh I am so jealous of Orla.  She grows that nice garden and all I can grow is a polyp.  It's not fair I tell you.
And now I'm totally addicted to that online game.  I get to whack chickens and go mining and melt the ore and beat it into weapons.  Then you can sell them to the others in the game.  You can catch little lobsters and build a little house.  And you get to have a little pet follow you around.
This big old scorpion did kill me once. I try not to mess with any creature that I'm not 10 levels above in order to insure my survival.  Where would the world be without me cooking toad crunchies.   You get to come back to life but everything in your backpack is gone but you still have the stuff you had in the bank storage.   Of course Celtic Chicken is helping me plot how to get revenge upon all scorpions some day.
Well Celtic Chicken will have to get busy on a group photo of Lisa's posse as I think everybody that wants to be in it has said so and gotten a character.  Any more requests for changes or makeovers?

(Could somebody tell me or link me to where the Chicago pictures with the banner are at? )
I had this weird dream last night about the Celtic Woman.  Something was wrong and they were on a PBS special but they were all singing out of tune and the voices weren't mixed right and all unbalanced.   It was really awful .  For some odd reason Haley was in it and that's the only one I remember individually seeing.  So there was only about 4 or 5 of them and I don't remember which ones.  I don't remember seeing Mairaed dancing around either.  So it was really strange.  It woke me up and has been bothering me all day.

Title: Re: Lisa Finds Celtic Chicken
Post by: Celtic Chicken on April 09, 2009, 01:25PM
Well thank you muchly. Now to answer all questions even if Celtic Chicken has to make some up for me to exaggerate my importance (as hers is already over the top.)
First of all,  if anybody would like the bigger version of this I could maybe email it or something since I can't remember how that link to a bigger picture works.  Unless somebody can figure it out for me.  I think I have to get it a little smaller though as it's over 1 megabyte.  Celtic Chicken says I could cut out everyone else except her and get it down to almost over 1 megabyte.
Now on to the questions.
Yes I really did fall down the stairs.  It's only a short stairs though so not good enough for The world's funniest video show I'm sure.  I'm doing okay though.  Got a little back brace on and am out doing the treadmill as always working on getting my fat off.  Oh hubby just came in so go to get ready to go treadmill.
Celtic fan of Lisa Kelly are you requesting a character for yourself to be in the photo?  Pm Celtic Chicken if you wish this and I will slip you in before sending out any large versions.
As for Lisa craving Chicken,  if she knows of the existence of Celtic Chicken,  she's probably stuffing herself with beef to repress the memory.
And Celtic Chicken always makes it back across the road.  She gets annoyed by those people on the other side emailing their congressmen about illegal chickens crossing their borders.  She certainly has no intentions of working at all let alone taking anybody's job.
Celtic Chicken thanks you for being happy to be associated with a group devoted to a lovely talented lady.  Of course Celtic Chicken thinks Lisa (although never being able to equal to her Chicken Goddess self), takes a close second in being a lovely talented lady.  Oh gotta go....Like 5 minutes of coaxing fat to leave makes a difference in the scheme of the universe.

I was flattered to be included as a member of Lisa’s Posse. Kinda easy to find me with a big Z. You know my Avatar is a Black Footed Ferret. Only native American Ferret and is on the endangered species.
Do you know what they eat?
No not chicken unless Colonel Sanders drops some by. (I hear they like the Original recipe.)
Nope they live in Prairie Dog towns and eat the furry rodents. One of those ecological things. No ferrets, too many dogs. No dogs, no ferrets.
Hope you are starting to feel better from the fall. You do know how to prevent that don’t you? GET RID OF THE STAIRS. Of course if you live in a two story house, there might be an issue.
Maybe at one of the venues, someone can hang a “Celtic Chicken loves Lisa and her posse.”

Jim

Title: Re: Lisa Finds Celtic Chicken
Post by: Celtic Chicken on April 09, 2009, 07:08PM
Zank  that's not you in the photo.  It's a squirrel.  But I shall look for a black footed ferret picture for you.  Would you like it natural or with an American Native costume or perhaps wearing something else. Maybe a prairie dog tail stuck between it's teeth.   (Your wish is Celtic Chicken's desire.  Ooops I just got an egg thrown at me for starting internet rumors.)
The stairs was to the basement so I could do your suggestion and take them out.  Dungeons could come back in style any day now.

You have a Squirell with a Z? As in Zorro?  I an hurt. I will have to send Clover out looking for a chicken.
As for looking for a BFF try here. http://www.prairiewildlife.org/adoptionredirect.htm (http://www.prairiewildlife.org/adoptionredirect.htm)

While ther, adopt a Ferret. Only 425.00 and you don't get to take one home.  ;D

And by the way the abreviation of Zankoku is Z or Zan. the word is 2 Zan and Koku.  :D

Up until a few years ago they were thought to be extinct so SAVE A FERRET, to heck with whales. (just kidding about the whales.)

Jim

Title: Re: Lisa Finds Celtic Chicken
Post by: Celtic Chicken on April 09, 2009, 11:07PM
Only $425.00 for some phantom ferret you never get to take home.  Well Celtic Chicken will order a thousand of them.  Good luck getting paid.  What are they going to do to about it....repossess them????  Wha haa haa

Well if Clover finds a chicken it he or she will certainly be happier than you having been compassionatelessly psychologically crumpled  by a heartless chicken.  How often do you find 2 Zorro impersonators on the same forum.
Anyway she shall gather up her equipment and go hunting for a ferret.  Don't put it past Celtic Chicken to paint the feet of an imposter.  Make sure to check her pockets for black magic markers.

For $425.00 they should let you adopt a Celtic Woman.
I was looking around at pictures of the ferrets and came to website for some Ohio Heart association ( or something like  that)  said they had adopted Clover.  They had a picture of Clover there too.

Clover is cute. After this breeding season, so will be set loose into the wilds. I agree, for $425.00 we should be able to adopt a Celtic Woman. Wonder if we would be able to take them home. Maybe Rich can get right on that for us.

Hey, CC, I'm a late joiner to the posse myself!
I have no idea what you could make out of a FaFo like me...heck, I don't know what a FaFo properly looks like, nor does anyone else on here.  Exept maybe Rich.  He came up with the idea. ;)
Anyway, you seem to have done a good job matching character with personality, so I'll leave it up to you! ;D

I must say, I'll relate to Angus in that I love lions and eagles...I really love birds...and I'm Tennesseean.  However, Angus, you're much too Orange for my tastes. *GO VANDY!* :P ;D (Although please don't use Vandy in my character, CC! :D)

Hey CC,
Give her a halo. She deserves it. ;)
Only way I can have a halo is if it's held up by my horns! ;D

Hey CC,
Where are you? I was just over on Lisa's Fan Club Forum and was wondering if you might put in an appearance over there?

Of course the Celtic Woman Thrift Shop sells tobacco and Guiness.  They have to make a profit don't they?
There are more legit ways of making a profit.

Yes Kathleen those Irish girls know what to do with potatoes.  They sell them to discount retail stores in America to make Mr Potato Heads so the American girls will have something to snuggle on the couch with instead of hitting on all their Irish men that come over to do the Riverdance.
What about the guys hitting on the Irish girls??

Example Picture

Whatever,  gotta go but will be back should you wish to accept this mission.
i WOULD ALSO LIKE TO JOIN THE POSSE. iD BE A KING COBRA.
