I hadn't thought about asking talk show hosts to use Celtic Woman as bumper music for their shows, even though I work at a news/talk station. By the way our station airs "Coast to Coast AM".

The first time I heard anyone from Celtic Woman was when Orla's "Harry's game" was used as late night bumper music between segments on coast to coast with Art Bell. Yes, I used to be a talk radio junkie. I like my new listening better, its more peaceful.

I used to hear all kinds of uncommon music used as bumper music when back in Nebraska. I did a little DJ work at a small station for awhile and we used a lot of Mannheim Steamroller which you couldn't hear anywhere else.

I would listen to the radio more often if...

1) there was more CW music played on stations
2) there were not so many commercials
3) there were better people on the stations
4) things were not so fake and
5) I could listen to the songs that I wanted to when I wanted to hear them.

I guess this means I need to have my own station with my own shoe. To much money needed to do that so I will just be stuck with all the regulars. Oh well!

On Friday, they played The Lost Rose Fantasia from Songs from the Heart on the classical station here.

And they pronounced Celtic Woman correctly!

That's really cool! CW isn't on the radio very often - although I have heard them a few times during Christmastime.

http://www.calonfm.com/105fm/?page_id=22895     In this weekly radio show- live streamable from  Wrexam in Wales, will play CW upon request. It is a show that caters to the classical crossover genre. The show's host, Jan Rawlinson, is very congenial and encourages interaction on line.  It plays on Sundays from  12-3 pm  CST.
