Good question..... There has been a similar discussion about Lil' lambe's hair and it was finally concluded that she was a natural red head, but now I guess the discussions open on Mairead now. hmmm...  |

Maybe she was a blond when she was little, and through the years it's turned brown, and now she just colors her hair. But it seems that her hair is a really dark brown in the pic. So it's hard to tell.

Don't know the answer for sure, but it's very likely she does dye her hair blonde like Méav. Blonde looks great on them both though!  |

Her haircolor in the 80s pic looks to me like dark blond with darker hairlines. BTW, Mairead does sometimes have a darker hailine and her blond color varies from time to time, though that might depend on the light.
