I thought this was cool.  Someone posted it on Youtube and has the Clannad version and the Meav version.  Clannad released their album  "Dulaman" in 1976.  I love both versions!

P.S. And reading the comments below on Youtube...the Clannad fans liked the Clannad version better and the CW fans liked the CW version better.

As it should be  Cheesy

There is an all-men version that I rather like. It's completely different from Méav's rendition; it's not even the slightest bit flirty. It's so intense, you'd think they were going to war or something! I definitely like Méav's version the best, but I like listening to other versions to compare them.

Yeah, for whatever reason, the youtube community feels the need to be disrespectful towards the videos and/or each other. Personally, I have no idea why they do this, but its really immature and annoying. Maybe they get a thrill out of knowing they can string a few expletives together...  Roll Eyes

I just ignore the stupid comments, especially regarding Celtic Woman. Anyone who deliberately speaks badly of them probably isn't worth talking to. I don't have a problem with people who can say they dislike something respectfully, but when they just make rude remarks, it bothers me.

Besides... those people just don't know what they're missing!  Wink

I only saw a clip of it on Youtube and it was nice.  I'm adding another version by Altan.  I love them all BUT in my opinion   MEAV IS THE QUEEN OF DULAMAN!
