They are calling for snow here in the SC upstate tonight!  We'll see what happens, maybe a little delay in the morning?  We rarely get snow here, once a year, lasts about one day, and then it melts away!

I'm in North Eastern Ohio (10 miles from Akron) and we have about a foot of snow on the ground now and we are expected to get 3-5 inches this evening, 3-6 inches overnight, and additional 6-12 inches tomorrow, and then Lake Effect on Saturday.

Hmm, wind chill of 26°F.  Seems like a good night to make stew.

I don't know who gets more excited about snow holidays - the students or the teachers! LOL
Zee
Oh, I know from experience.  Since I was the resident "meteorologist" at school ( I got a Minor in it while completing my Earth Science Masters), I was the one everyone looked for in hopes of a snow day at school.  They even expected me to give odds and were disappointed if I said the odds were less than 80%.  I didn't dare go to the faculty room for lunch or anything else for that matter as I was expected to give everyone the latest "good" news.  Ah...  the good ol' days!  Now  just sit at home, watch the snow fly, watch the busses try to get through, drink my coffee, get on the CW Forum (!  Cheesy), and smile!!   Grin  And smile, and smile.....   Grin   Grin   Grin   Grin

It's ok, Sara. We'll forgive you but you will have to be the first person to jump in Lake Michigan in April !!   You should be use to the cold by then  Grin

HAHA ya... it's pretty cold here :-) Funny to see people walking around in uggs, scarves, and down jackets when they think it is freezing (aka 60 degrees). Gotta love CA!

I don't think you got that from me, cause it only snowed 2 days ago here, not yesterday.
