This is very sad for all concerned.

I can see all points of view.

It seems to me the couple should have discussed the future of the child before the birth,
away from the glare of the media.

It would have been much better if they had thought about the consequences and responsibilities of
bringing a child into the world, nine months before the birth.

Apparently nobody thinks about that nowadays, judging by how many kids are shuffled around in the foster care system. Sad
