Since the start of The German“Chloë Agnew / Celtic Woman Forum” on October 13th, 2009 I got several attempts from guests that want to join with a faked username, email- and/or ip-address. Just want to ask the admins of CWF if there're similar attempts here at the forum too.

I'm getting tired of blocking each IP!!!

We get them constantly - sometimes 2 or 3 a day.  Most of the time, we're able to weed them out and ban them before they do any harm.

Same over here; currently 18 attempts during the last 48h. Those people are really mad and sick!!!

I hope that there'll be a possibility in the future to identify these spammers automatically but this is a very difficult job. In same cases it's almost unpossible to identify them manually.
