In the current issue of Ireland of the Welcomes, it is announce Dublin name City of Literature from UNESCO.  Also some info I scribble from the magazine:
•   New Camelot filming at Ireland Ardmore studios. Starring Jamie Campbell Bower as Arthur, Joseph Fiennes as Merlin and Tamsin Egerton as Guinevere.
•   High Irish Crosses on Exhibit at National Museum of Ireland.
•   The Rooney Family and background of the family including buying the Football team Pittsburgh Steelers formerly known as the Pirates.
•   Sean Penn and Frances McDormand Filming ‘This Must be the Place’. Irish Film board proivding financial  support of €30 million($38 million). Also co-starring Eve Hewson, 19 year old daughter  of Paul Hewson a.k.a Bono.
•   Waterford Crystal is now called House of Waterford Crystal, at the same location. Though the production moved to Europe and the workers at the location were laid off. It will now have 70 full time, 33 part time and 33-40 seasonal temp workers. It will produce 40,000 annually of high end pieces. Will also have shop to buy the merchandise and tours.
