The Irish get everywhere.

Those we think of as the indigenous Irish are descendants of the Celts, who migrated across Europe
and settled in Scotland and Ireland.

You can see people of Celtic ancestry in Northern Spain and Galicia, South Western France and Brittany.
When I lived in Spain, I had a friend who was from Santander on the Northern coast.....she had red hair and
blue eyes. We discovered we had similar tastes in music, and when she played tunes
from her part of Spain, I could hear a similarity with Irish music.
The Irish have always wandered in search of work and adventure, so there are Irish Communities all over the World.
You may not see them advertised, because the Irish love to talk and literally spread the word.
Since the invention of the Internet and Social Networks it is easier of course.

All over the USA, in almost every State, there are Irish Clubs, Irish Pubs, and Schools of Irish Dance.
If you are interested in traditional Irish music and dance, you can find your State on this site of the
Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann:

The CW Forum has Members from many Countries, and if you want to know what is going on in the Irish Community,
you can try searching the Internet, or ask in your local Irish Pub.
