Pantomime is a great tradition in Ireland and the UK during the Christmas Season.
I have wonderful memories of going to the Pantomime with the whole family, or sometimes just with my Mother.
There are the big, lavish productions in major cities, which usually have big Stars in the leading roles.
Then there are the smaller local productions, just as enjoyable.
Here is the one at the Gaiety in Dublin, if you are going to be in Ireland for Christmas.
You might recognize one of the Stars.....Una Pedreschi as Princess Jasmine:

Jack & the Beanstalk is at the Helix:

If you've never been to a Pantomime, you've missed a treat - whatever your age....
...you are never too old or too young to enjoy this unique form of entertainment.

There are groups which put on Pantomimes in the Netherlands.

I.D.E.A. (International Drama English speaking Associates) put on a Pantomime in Hendrik Ido Ambacht,
usually in January or February.
Look! They are going to present "Robin Hood"  that will be great fun!

They are still looking for Chorus Members:

Thank you very much.
I really appreciate it.
They are only to far from my home, I have to do everything by bus or train.
