This is one of the best Theatres in the World, up there with La Scala Milan.
The accoustics are the best I've ever experienced, including La Scala.

I have been to a few concerts there, and I would give anything to be there next Wednesday 8th Dec.

Celtic Woman is one of the "Surprise Guests" at the José Carreras Gala, proceeds to go to his Leukemia Foundation
and Asthma UK. Another guest is Dame Kiri Te Kanewa.
So finally.....after being scheduled there on the cancelled UK Tour 2007,
they get to perform at the Royal Albert Hall.
THIS will be a great concert!

Haven't seen the inside of it, but I've seen the outside in person! Grin LOL. I'm sure it will be lovely.

There are DVDs of the José Carreras Gala in previous years, hopefully there will be one of this performance.

The BBC might cover it on TV in Europe.

I'm beginning to wonder if they were really at the Royal Albert Hall, as they are appearing at the
José Carreras Gala in Leipzig on 16th December. I think the notice I read might be wrong.

Here's the list of guests in Leipzig: (I cut and pasted it, and changed Celtic Women to Woman)

Die Carreras Gala 2010 Gäste sind:

    * Helene Fischer
    * Sting
    * Andrea Berg
    * Unheilig
    * Silly
    * Nena
    * Xavier Naidoo
    * Vicky Leandros
   * Celtic Woman
    * Musical “Ich war noch niemals in N.Y“
    * Michael Bolton
    * Man Doki Soulmates
    * Das Deutsche Fernsehballett des MDR
    * Filmorchester Babelsberg
    * Willy Ketzer Studioband

I don't think they were at the Royal Albert Hall

Here is the link again for the José Carreras Gala;

http://www.mdr.de/carrerasgala/7900128.html

The annual Charity Gala is always very emotional, José Carreras the very known Tenor – he’s the moderator of the Charity Gala - was concerned with the illness and he’s the founder of the José Carreras Foundation.

The Gala tells us stories about the illness, supports kids and adults with Leukaemia and gives hope for all human with this illness. It is a Gala with haunting and impressive moments, sad and lucky moments, it’s an emotional rollercoaster for all involved with a lot of tears.

José Carreras presents the Gala simultaneous and he speaks with all his guests and there are always beautiful and not expected surprises for the participants.

Be prepare for a very hauting evening, beautiful that Celtic Woman are a Part of these important and necessary Charity Projects

They are flying to Germany today. Lisa K has twittert yesterday:

"Is off to Germany tomorrow. Looking forward to Lisa Lambe's first official Celtic Woman outing!!!! Watch out Germany - Here Come The Girls."

They will be surprised about the snow. It will snow very much in east Germany the next days.

There are photos from a webcam in Leipzig.
