totally random thought....... I wonder how Lynn Hilary is going to get used to the meet and greets?  You think the girls will just let her ease her way into doing them or will they just through her out there,,,,,, in a sink or swim kind of way?

I have yet to hear Lynn's music, but she is awfully pretty!

You and I, holding tight
You and I gotta fight
You and I, side by side
You and I, sanctified
You and I feels so right
You and I, holding tight
You and I, side by side
You and I, for the rest of our lives

Every night
We're all alone every night
My only hope is the light
That's shining from inside you
'Cause you believe in what we are
You believe in what we'll be
Give me strength
So I can stand beside you

No truths to confirm
No lies to deny
Too hopeless to care
We're too scared to cry

You and I, holding tight
You and I gotta fight
You and I, side by side
You and I, sanctified
You and I feels so right
You and I, holding tight
You and I, side by side
You and I, for the rest of our lives

Cast aside to an angry street
Criticized for what we believe
If we hide, maybe we can
Make it through this
Is it fair to be thrown away?
Is it fair that we live this way?
Victimized for a life we didn't ask for

No truths to confirm
No lies to deny
Too hopeless to care
We're too scared to cry

You and I, holding tight
You and I gotta fight
You and I, side by side
You and I, sanctified
You and I feels so right
You and I, holding tight
You and I, side by side
You and I, for the rest of our lives

You and I, holding tight
You and I gotta fight
You and I, side by side
You and I, sanctified
You and I feels so right
You and I, holding tight
You and I, side by side
You and I, for the rest of our lives

Very random, but I would like to sing that song with her. Or Bella...

Of a new and brighter day
If we work to make them come true
We will surely find a way

Thank you for all your welcomes  Smiley

greenfire, good description of an Anuna gig!  No, correction needed, except maybe that Anuna celebrate their 20th anniversary this very year!
A few additions: The technical term of that chaos singing you're referring to is Hetrophony, still used on the Western Isles of Scotland (if I remember correctly what Michael tells us everytime). It basically means "not singing together" and that's what the ladies do during Jerusalem. Jerusalem is THE song which is sung at every gig - and the one during which you have a lady standing right next to you, if you're lucky! VERY beautiful and haunting. And yes, it is their real hair!  Grin

Andreja Malir has been performing with Anuna several times, by the way. I've seen her at a Christmas gig twice or more. Other regular guest musicians are Noel Eccles on percussion and Kenneth Edge on saxophone - both brilliant!

Dunno where Lynn's actually from but I'd say she's a Dublin accent (for those of you who are familiar with that). Definitely not very strong. She speaks Irish - and even I (as an Irish beginner) can understand her!

We always do Meet and Greets after Anuna gigs     - or should I say THEY do? I haven't started signing CD's yet!  Wink
So, she knows a bit about this too! She's a lovely lady, you'll see.

Yep.  As posted elsewhere, Lynn is a Dubliner and fluent Irish speaker.  She and Méav attended the same school.
