"QVC thread" ?? When I was LOOKING for a QVC thread a few minutes ago. the only thing I saw was the "MOVED: QVC" .......so that's why I opened THAT thread up.........now when I opened it again -- I just remembered a question I have -- now I see a link that brings up another thread labeled "QVC". Where was it  Anyway, I noticed while Chloe was doing her solo's on QVC, she's wearing a thin gold ring on the ring finger of her left hand. Has Chloe quietly, and secretly gotten married ?? Or is she simply choosing to wear a gold ring, as personal jewery, on that finger ?? |

I saw it and liked it. however I did not like that the host basically ignored David Downes. She did say nice piano playing to him but didn't even mention his name.
Poor David - he was playing his heart out at the piano and didn't get mentioned other than a reference to "the man at the piano" !  I felt so mad at the host though!! She totally disregarded David! She didn't even bother to say his name! Deep breaths, folks. Odds are the host simply did not know that David is the composer for the group. While yes, we all saw the notices from CW on newsletters and tweets, I doubt the host had that same exposure. Not to justify but to explain - other times I've tuned into QVC for something or another, I don't recall them ever naming the supporting musicians for an act... the hosts have always put their attention toward the "main" performers, such as singers.
Yes, I too would have liked for David to get more of a nod, esp. given how much of the show and songs performed are crafted by him, I would hesitate to vilify the host. Also remember, QVC goes for act to product to act, etc. in vary speedy succession. Likely that does not help. |

well well well this is an intersting question! It could just be a promise or purity ring or it very well could be "a ring"! A co-worker of mine who isn't married wears a ring to keep dudes from hitting on her. I'm sure Chloe has the same problem.  |
