Any of you like Trailer Choir? Even though their songs are sort of crazy / funny / country, they sound pretty good and are very entertaining. Chrystal, the lady in the group, is attractive, but in a good sort of way. Not sleazy at all. She has a powerful and quality voice too.
Also, anyone seen Carrie Underwood's newest video "Just a Dream"? Very moving and sad. Makes you think. At the start she is in her wedding dress getting married to an army guy. Well you can guess what happens. At the end she is dressed in black at his funeral. This will be Carrie's 8th #1 hit.

I have not seen Carrie's "Just a Dream" video. I look forward to seeing it. I have both her CDs and that is one of my favorite songs. I certainly hope it will in fact be her 8th # 1 hit. There is somethiing that I find very appealing and inspiring about Carrie. I hope she stays in the music business for many years to come. Joan

I checked out Anuna's CD "Invocation". It's an old one (1995), but it's the first actual CD of their's that I've heard. I did enjoy it. They have a very classical sound on this one, but intermixed with Celtic stylization.

Been trying to find a download of that, no luck. I've got 'Essential' and 'Omnis' you might want to check out the former.

some cultural stuff... Mari Boine. She was born a Saami in Norway, and sings her her native tounge....no....this music is not Asian...nor is it Native American....the saamis are mostly live in the scandanavian region....and it's awesome. and the awesome thing about Mari, she adds more of a rockish jazz sound to her music, which makes it even cooler than it already is. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oVwK1zLIEv0http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iMvIDfONtlY~Mel.

I've just found a new and exciting singer/musician/songwriter. She's a young Aussie named Shiraz Tilley - yes, that's her real name - and you can visit her web site right here, or her MySpace page here.
