Ireland has great musicians! Anyone here likes Enya?
Oh, yes.. Lots and Lots of Enya in my music library. Me, too! Been listening to Enya since the 80's...and never stopped! When I was pregnant with both of my boys (1991 & 1997) I listened to Enya constantly...and it kept my blood pressure down...and as my boys have grown up, they have a lovely appreciation for Enya as well as Celtic Woman! I just love "beautiful/dreamy" music!
Here's a lovely lady as well...Her name is Laura Turner and my favorite song of hers is "Soul Deep" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZYUGlEaeS5s She sings a couple of beautiful duets also...that even though I can't understand the language she's singing in, it requires kleenex nearby. Very beautiful music.

Here's a friend of Rich's....Luan Parle, from Wicklow. I haven't read all 18 pages of this thread, so I don't know if she has been mentioned. She is a sweet, kind lady who gave some of her CDs and signed pictures to send to the 1st Cavalry Troops, when our friend Col. Allen was in Baghdad. On this YouTube clip, she is in an unusual setting - a boxing match in Castlebar County Mayo. She is singing Amhrán na bhFiann, the Irish National Anthem. By the way, the Irishman won! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lMJroF-1_5o

This forum is amazing. Besides our lovely ladies and the HG and CT, We have learne about Luan Parle, Siobhan Owen and Shraz Tilley among others.
I am definitley a fan of Raz and Siobhan. That young lady hasn't even hit the top of her game and she is fabulous.
