Anyone else on the forum a fan of Lea Salonga?  I first became aware of her back when she came onto the music scene in Miss Saigon, and later in Les Miz.  At the time I was so involved with other things, I failed to appreciate what was before me.  It has been a joy catching up with the career of this wonderful talent, listening to and watching as much as I can find of her on youtube.  Someday I hope to see one of her live performances.

She is indeed a great performer! I've learned of her when I watched Disney-movies where she sang incredible beautiful songs  (Reflection, A Whole New World) but her other performances are amazing as well  Cheesy

I've watched all the Disney links (that I found).  Somewhere along the way there was a song that immediately got my attention-------"You'll Be In My Heart"!  It wasn't quite as good as Alex's version, but great just the same.

I now have to watch the Andrew LLoyd Webber medley video at least twice a day to get my "fix" Smiley.  Her voice simply draws me into all her songs in a way that I have to listen.  I wonder if we can get her name changed to O'Salonga so she can fill in until they can find a replacement for Alex? Cheesy  She would make a great CW member!

Celine Dion.
I've never been a huge fan of hers. I liked her big hits like My Heart Will Go On, etc. So I decided to watch Celine: Through the Eyes of the World for fun and I was amazed by her talented voice! It's a documentary showing her Taking Chances tour with footage of the concert and behind-the-scenes. Not only does she have a great voice, she is also hilarious!! After I saw that, I became hooked to more of her songs! Her voice is one of the few in the world that can sing amazing live! (and of course, CW Cheesy) So if you've only heard some of her songs, I would look into more of them. I even like her French songs, even though I have no idea what she's saying... Shocked

I looooove Celtic Woman sooo much, but I also love Celtic Thunder and ABBA just as much!!!  OMG addicted!!!
And I love Katherine Jenkins, Josh Groban, Demi Lovato, Secret Garden, and so many other artists just as much!!!
I have a wide range of music I love.  I mean, I love pretty much anything except for screamo (you know, the loud guitars and screaming devil music).  I pretty much love anything else.  Music is my life.

I really enjoy Skillet... I almost like them as much as CW, because their music is quite variated, well composed and the lyrics has always a very beautiful message.. They're not like the common gospel & rock bands, but a perfect mix of both.

Crooked Still.  Excellent band.  They're a Newgrass Progressive folk group ... they kind of sound a bit like Nickel Creek, but at the same time they have a totally unique sound.
