I adore the Indigo Girls, dunno if a lot of people still listen to them. Their song 'Ghost' is absolutely wonderful. Of course, 'Closer to Fine' is fab as well 'Land of Canaan' is a great song by them. I hadn't heard 'Ghost' until now, so thanks.

After listening to Lisa L sing with The Key Notes, I started listening to other things TKN, and they're good!

Has anyone seen or heard of Alison Balsom? I saw her on David Letterman recently. She is very, very, talented. Here is a video of her. The trumpet she is playing is called a rotary valve piccolo trumpet. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ds_5cLu4FUk

The "soft rock" radio station has played the Dan Fogelberg song "Same Old Lang Syne" quite a few times recently — probably because of Christmas.
I caught on to Dan several years ago. He gave the world some great songs in his lifetime.

I heard a Loreena McKennett song at the movies yesterday; her voice sounded like a mixture of Joan Baez's and Maire Brennan's voices. It was ethereal!

Check out some of the videos by my Norwegian friend Elin Synnøve Bråthen. She has a very charming voice, and is a warm and funny person as well. All lyric are in English, except for Red Bean Song, which she sings in Chinese. http://www.elinsynnove.no/
