Shine is a great CD. One of the best I heard for a long time.
My favorite songs are Rising from the Fire and An Angel Walking.  But all 12 Songs are great. Not one worse song. And she has co-worte 7 of this songs.

Just bought her album on Itunes, indeed a great cd. Also really impressed by the music accompaniment. I've just started listening but already love it  Grin

Shocked  Shocked  Shocked  Shocked Saw Garth Brooks in Vegas last FRI....it was such an incredible show..he held the audience in the palm of
his hand...he talked about his Mom, and declared himself to be a Mama's boy...talked about his dad's
music...then worked in bits and pieces from the 60's on up..Finally, bringing the house down with
billy joel's  "Shameless" and  Finally, with everyone standing singin "I've got friends in Low Places"
He is very passionate, engaging and a super-wonderful entertainer, and I am so glad he came out of
                   retirement...

They're not singers, but it's group of performers that I discovered recently, and have been watching their DVDs as much as Celtic Woman's. They're called Cinematic Titanic. It was put together by Joel Hodgson, creator of Mystery Science Theater 3000, and features the original MST3K cast. The robots are gone, but the material is equally as funny!

Have any of you heard of the boys' choir called Libera? They're really awesome. Here's a video.

I had the great pleasure of seeing Stephanie Cadman and Celtic Blaze in concert at the Adelphi University Performing Arts Center (in Garden City, NY) last Saturday (3/3/12).  Stephanie plays the fiddle/violin, step/tap dances, sings, and composes (over half the songs were her own compositions).  The concert was spectacular; I recommend that my Fellow Forumites attend one (or more) of her concerts if the opportunity presents itself.

I've always been a big Sandi Patti fan! She had a terrific voice back in the day-very inspirational stuff. Any other SP fans out there?  Undecided
