Oh My God , can't wait to hear the whole song.
A moderator should move it in the Believe's board ?

It's even better than the ones on all the solo albums and that's saying something. I'm so glad it's a group number.

WOW! Sounds good! Real Celtic Woman Style. But I still prefer Chloë's Version.

Amazing! So glad they made it a group-song, since my favorite solo-version is still done by Órlagh. Really well done.

If I'm not mistaken, they've also changed the tune around a bit. It sounds different, somehow strange (not meant in a bad way though). It's still a great tune but I'd prefer it with the "original" tune.

I'll try to find the time to translate the article. But it seems that they've made a few mistakes (notably implying that CW comes to France because of Nolwenn Leroy's success. Or am I inferring that?). Anyway, I'll see if I can find the time from my busy schedule to do it.

Only the extract. But there's something that nobody here has mentioned so far. Something that I really couldn't have hoped for: "The Water is Wide" is a collaboration with the Bagad of Lann Bihoué. And that's great news! Really great news! To explain: in Britanny, a "bagad" (plural: bagadou) is a pipe band, featuring bagpipes, bombardes (shawns) and drums, and, well, whatever else the band can think off, really, from the biniou koz (small bagpipe) to the clarinette. And the Bagad of Lann-Bihoué is the only military pipe band in France. Formed in 1952 on the naval air force base of Lann-Bihoué, near Lorient, it's formed exclusively of sailors, and since then has grown its own traditions. For instance, it always opens the big parade at the opening of the Festival Interceltique in Lorient every august. Once it arrives at the end of the parade, each musician goes back to their own original bagad to play with their former civilian comrades. Among their repertoire, you can find thier version of The Water is Wide here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=99JKsCzKVrg By the way, that song has known two french translation (one, "La Mer est Immense", sung by New Zealand born singer Graeme Allwright, the other, "La Ballade Nord-Irlandaise,", sung by Renaud), and a breton translation (by Gilles Servat, sung by Tri Yann).
