Some of those categories will be very easy to vote for, but I see one in particular that will be very hard to decide!

Top Duo in a Pub, Festival, Concert (US, IRE, EU, UK)
Ian Walsh and Kevin Buckley

Ian and Kevin are from St. Louis and have both played extensively with Tommy Martin, CW's piper.  They are amazing musicians and work so hard.  Ian actually took over Tommy's standing Monday night gig at John D. McGurk's when Tommy joined CW.  They are definitely worth a look and a vote!

Also, remember that Tommy plays with Teada often when they tour the States and has played for the last 7 years with members of the group for their Irish Christmas in America show.  The only reason he's missing this year is because he has another obiligation.  Wink

Just some info to help you make a decision!

In the early voting it looks like Meav is trailing Ryan Kelly in the Top Solo Performer in Concert category.  From the postings on the forum it looks like Ryan has a lot of support, so Meav is going to need every vote she can get in both the free member and paid member categories!  Shocked Undecided

If you are a paid member, you can vote in both the free and paid member categories, so  you can vote twice if you are a paid member.  The paid member votes count much more than the free member votes.

That''s the spirit!  What better use of your Christmas gift money than to join the IMA and vote as a patron member, helping our artists win the awards they should have won this past year! Let's not allow them to lose this year! And don't forget  to vote for Tommy Martin  on pipes, as well!  Wink Cool
