I'm thankful for my little "podunk" FM radio station. Mostly rock and roll oldies the staff wedges in a good lineup of original programing. Recently they were doing movie soundtracks and played Alison Krauss's cover of Down to the River to Pray from the movie Oh Brother Where Art Thou?

I had forgotten about this and was struck by the similiar voices of Alison and Órla. For comparison here are two covers:

In interviews Órla has said that Alison has been an influence and the she would like to collaberate with her sometime. I think the two would make a dynamic duo for a one-time project. I think it would be profitable for the artist and their fans if something could, one day, be organized.
