Hey guys! I know Susan hasn't had her own solos yet (which is a shame if you ask me), but I wanted to know which solo that she covered everyone preferred the most! So... VOTE!!!!  Grin

There is no Lambe like our Lil' Lambe.  Mairead Carlin is the real deal.

I'll cast mine too when I see the PBS special (I won't be able to attend any of the shows this year).  But I have heard her do The Water Is Wide and Follow On, and I LOOOOOVE Follow On.  She almost made me cry lol!  And don't forget she did do Green the Whole Year Round and The Christmas Song on the Symphony Tour.  Smiley  I saw the video of her singing GTWYR, and I loved it!

I absolutely can't choose between Caledonia and The Voice...both left me breathless!! It was the first time I'd ever heard Susan sing live and both were flawless. VERY impressed. Kiss

Caledonia - Because it's special to her. Not sure how one can detect the sincereity in her words as she sang - but it just seemed that way to me. Loved  it.

Appreciation is a wonderful thing: it makes what is excellent in others belong to us as well.

Thanks for all of your wonderful music Deirdre

It helped  that she prefaced the song  with a personal  tidbit about WHY  the song  meant what it did to her.  At least  she did at my concert .   Smiley

She did @ mine as well; which is something I liked a lot because it helped make it different from Lisa's and the one thing I was hoping for was that she would do just that, make it her own.

It was super hard for me to chose between Caledonia and The Water Is Wide.
I ended up picking The Water Is Wide, just because I was crying the first time I heard her sing it last year.
Caledonia is a REALLY close 2nd though Smiley

I think I may have written it in my review, but dare I say it?  (Sorry Lisa fans, don't hurt me.. Embarrassed )
It was just a touch better than Lisa's.
I love Lisa dearly, I do... but Susan's Water Is Wide... just...  Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked
