I know! Andso it's an original CW song, since it was written by a CW member, and not a cover. But I totally forgot it when I've made the poll.

The Voice was written by Brendan Graham (who also wrote several CW songs) for an ESC entry (no idea what the singer's name was) - it won.That was somewhen in the 90s.

I believe I've found the performance you are talking about, Chiara. The singer's name is Eimear Quinn. From 1996.
