Does anyone if our lassies are for sure coming to Syracuse, NY?!?! I came across something today that said they are going to be @ the Landmark Theater on Sunday June 8th @ 3pm, which would make very happy  |

After some further checking, I wound up at CW's PR company website (ontourpr.com). I found a Press Release that listed the Syracuse/Landmark show as the last stop on the tour on June 8. It was dated in October. Unfortunately, I then found another Press Release from November (a month newer) that does NOT include the Syracuse show. Which means, Syracuse was on the original tour schedule, and then was removed for some reason. That's a bad sign that whatever you saw may be old and outdated.  However, it doesn't mean that they couldn't add it back on again. They do sometimes add shows during the middle of the Tour. So I hope, beyond hope, that you are right - but I'm thinking that if they were going to add shows, it would have happened already. It's almost April - eight weeks in advance isn't much time to promote and sell out a show. And I also think they would have added it before the Emerald broadcast on PBS, so Syracuse's local station could use tickets as membership incentives. Doesn't look good. |

Thanks for the info, now I am encouraged again - TIcketmaster says tickets go on sale on Friday - I am just surprised that there's nothing on the Landmark Theater's website, or on Syracuse's PBS station website. I am NOT surprised, however, that there's nothing on CW.com. That's often the last place it appears - but also the only place where you can know, for sure, that it's official. Thanks again - let's keep our fingers crossed.  |
