I'm looking at the picture of Hayley posted here (by willow ... thank you willow) versus the pictures of Lynn in the newest, most up-dated Tour Program. No, as I suspected (and previously mentioned) they are not in fact the same dresses/gowns. Lynn's is different in a few ways, mainly the color (copper) versus Hayley's gown (gold/golden).
I'm still on the road (in WPB) for/from this Tour. Once I get back home (Tuesday/Wendesdy), to my desktop pc, I will scan a couple of shots of Lynn's (current) dress/gown so we can see the difference ... OK?
(Willow, thank you for that beautiful "golden' shot of Hayley and, it being from one of the ANJ Tour stops too. That's precisely why I [lovingly, ever so lovingly] always referred to Hayley as our ... Golden Angel).

Ok, here's a shot of Lynn and her gown which I just scanned from the newest, most recent CW Tour Program. You can see the difference between her gown and Hayley's gown. One could say they could be one and the same, only altered/modified. But, to me it's the color that is the most noticable difference, with Hayley's gown being more of a gold color versus Lynn's which is closer to a copper color. (Actually, the pic IN the program is more copper colored than this scan). That's my take on this anyway.

I'm going to add in a scan of Hayley's gown too, from the original ANJ Tour Program so that both photos came from my scanner. This way the colors of the gowns might be more accurate, in relation to each other (coming from the same scanner). I know willow already posted a beautiful photo of Hayley here, but as I say, just so they both come from the same scanner. Hopefully this will show the differences between the two, most notibly, the color of each gown.

Do we see the differences between Hayley's and Lynn's gowns? I mean, both absolutely stunning of course. But I wanted you to be able to compare them, side by side, more or less, and from the same scanner. That should do it.

The dress in Hayley's program picture was the one she wore for the taping at Slane, but she didn't wear that one on tour. She wore a different one, as did the other ladies. I love the pic of Lynn you scanned, Bill. She looks beautiful, and I can't wait to see her perform when they come to California next spring. |
