CW is selling a dress on Ebay to benefit cancer research.  This is the pink dress worn by Chloe Agnew on the Emerald dvd.  Bids have just gone past the $500 mark but there is still time if you want to bid.  This dress was designed by Synan O'Mahony and is Ebay item number 151436010565.

I'm not sure what happened with the Ebay listing.  It is gone without explanation.  CW is still promoting the dress sale on their website.
It went on Ebay yesterday for 10 days, but is now gone.
I sent an email to CW to ask what happened.

At a guess? There was some problem with the listing and it's bit about donating the money to charity. EBay (and it's offshoot PayPal) are paranoid about charity & the implicated tax issues. There are stories all over the net about someone running a charity fundraiser of some form through PayPal and having PayPal freeze their account until they were provided with a tax ID number... which your normal person doesn't have. When Rich ran our charity fundraiser for the forum he had the same issue. *shrugs* I'm betting they'll get it sorted out and going again here in the next day or so.

CW has removed the posting from the Facebook page on their website.

The dress is now back on Ebay -- bidding is open until Oct. 18th.  
Item number is now 321550886048.

UPDATE:  Bids are at $1825 with 12 hours left.
